Intruder

Kanda sneaks away from the others in order to find someone she misses, what she didn't realise was that they were following her. Meanwhile, Ban runs after Elaine, and King runs after Ban. King catches up to Ban and once again they start to fight, Ban pulling out old moves. Kanda was a little ways away when she stopped to see King dodging Ban's attacks. She lets out a deep sigh and hears someone speak from beside her.

"I don't understand why King has never liked Ban"

"Oh, Elaine" Kanda says as she looks at her, she smiles gently. It's been a long time since they've last seen each other.

"I know he thinks Ban started the fire, but if he just listened then maybe he wouldn't be mad at him" Elaine says looking down upset.

"No matter how many times I've tried telling him, he refuses to listen. If you tell him, he'll definitely believe you." She says looking at Elaine floating next to her, Kanda has always been kind, since the first time they meet and she saved her life.

"Can you promise me, that you'll watch out for him for me?" Elaine asks

"You know I will" Kanda responds when they look back to the boys Ban is being held up by King's guardian, about to be turned to stone.

"We should head over now shouldn't we," Kanda asks, Elaine nods and disappears while Kanda jumps over and lands near them. Upon landing she turns to King and looks at him, she then turns to Ban and watches as he slowly turns to stone.

"If you have a deathbed confession, I'm willing to listen to what you have to say. But of course, that doesn't mean I'm gonna forgive what you've done" King says looking down at Ban. Ban chuckles and smiles a small bit. "What's so funny, don't act tough. Must be driving you crazy" King says, once Ban is completely turned King looks and continues to stare at him.

"Good-bye, Ban"

"No words of repent even at the very end, huh, that's so you. Ban. Then suffer alone for all eternity, never finding redemption or peace. Unable to move a muscle or die. That's fitting since you took everything from Elaine, you've earned your place here" King finishes floating away, he doesn't hear Kanda follow but her talking to someone.

"A little help?" She says, to King she's talking to thin air but Kanda knows Elaine is there. King turns around and sees little glowing lights floating around Kanda as she holds her hands on bans face, "uh what is that? Is it something Bans doing?" King questions not understanding what's going on.

"Right now he should be totally powerless, or is it... Is it Elaine" King says to himself. Kanda can hear him talking but decides not to tell him, Elaine needs to be the one. Elaine leans forward and puts her hands on Kanda's shoulders helping her break the stone cage around him. He looks down at her, smiling, as well as quickly smiling at Elaine.

"Hello, Elaine" Ban says softly. King still saying stuff behind them.

"Ban how on earth did you get that scar?" Elaine asks him, Kanda chuckles.

"I thought you guys watched over us from the other side" he replies back to her. King calls out to Elaine wishing to see her

"Let him see you," Kanda tells her but Elaine shakes her head, "You're in the Necropolis, it's possible for the living and the dead to see each other again, but only when bound together by strong emotions," Elaine says informing the two as to why.

The floor shakes around them and, Kanda and Ban quickly turn, Ban asks if its a Holy Knight with Kanda responding with a quick yes. Before Ban leaves Elaine asks him to wait.

"Please, why did you come?" Elaine askes

"I made a promise to you, and I intend on keeping it" Ban says quickly glancing at Kanda and running off to help the others. Kanda turns to Elaine, "What promise?" Kanda askes, Elaine knows she didn't miss Bans glance at her.

"When you traveled one day, I asked Ban to promise me something. That if anything were to happen to me, he would stay with you." Elaine tells her, Kanda smiles hugging Elaine, grateful to have a friend like her.

"I don't understand this, how can you forgive Ban? The man who stole everything from you destroyed the forest" King questioned while down on his hands and knees.

"After you abandoned your country, I had to endure 400 years of total solitude. Eventually, Kanda came along. She stayed with me for 300 years, but when Ban came along, help helped wipe away all those years in 7 days with us. Ban knew that you were my brother, so he deliberately egged you on. He let you spear him" Elaine tells King everything, he looks up at her shocked, wondering why.

"He's not the man that you believe him to be," Kanda says to King, backing Elaine up, she knows he'll believe both of them. In the distance Kanda hears a couple of explosions, she turns away and looks in the direction it came from. She turns to Elaine and gives a small wave goodbye before running off to help the others.

As Kanda approaches a massive explosion goes off causing her to turn and cover her head, as she gets up she sees Ban leaning on Diane while Diane covers Meliodas. She recognizes the holy knight as Guila, they trained together a couple of times.

Kanda walks up to the group and Guila spots her, she smiles at her before attacking Ban and Meliodas as they approach. Kanda stands next to Diane and pats her leg, walking up to the others a cloud of smoke forms and when it's gone Guila has her rapier through Ban's neck.

Before Kanda can attack, King appears stabbing Ban through the chest to attack Guila. He sends her flying back into a crystal and lands on the end of his spear, Ban lets out a confused 'huh' and turns his head to look at King.

"Hello there Ban" King says to him, and Kanda smiles.
