I went home and threw my bag on the couch. I went to my kitchen and decided to make a small snack. I sat down at the table and began eating, I finally turned my phone back on and answered my dads text, he asked why I was late to school today, I told him I overslept.
I had another text from the anonymous number.
Touched a nerve?
You're a dick, you know that?
At least I'll admit it
What's that supposed to mean?
Nothing, nevermind.
Why won't you say any of this to my face?
Because I don't have to
Then at least call me and tell me
No
Why?
You'll know who I am
Whatever I'm done with this for tonight
I called Lexie and she answered quickly.
"Hey!" I could practically hear the smile on her face.
"Hey, what's up?" I chuckled.
"Nothing, it's so boring." She laughed.
"Girls night, or an A night?" I asked and she squealed.
"Yes! I'll be over soon." She hung up and I decided to order a few pizzas, not sure if it was just us two or all four of us.
About 5 minutes later Andrew showed up at my door.
That answers my question.
"Hey Andy!" I smiled and gave him a hug.
"I thought I said not to call me that?" He smiled and hugged me back.
"Well since I'm your best friend I think I'm allowed to have a nickname for you." I let go and smiled up at him, he was notably taller than me.
"Okay, but not around the other A's, only you can call me that." He shut the door behind him and made his way to the couch.
Since Andrew and I had talked and he knew what was going on, we had gotten a lot closer. We'd call every night, or text if one of us couldn't call. I'd learned a lot about him, like he could play piano, but he couldn't read sheet music, he played by ear.
His favorite food was grapes, which I called him weird for. I mean grapes are good but he's the first person I know that their favorite food is grapes. I know that he bites his lip when he's nervous, or plays with his hair when he wants to tell someone something.
I'm only mentioning that because he's doing it now. I gave him a look that basically meant to tell me and hit bit his lip again.
"Nervous and hiding something?" I asked and laid down, placing my head in his lap.
"What? No." He nervously chuckled.
"You told me what both of those means, so tell me what it is." I smiled at him.
"Ayda, I don't know how to say this, but I-" he gets cut off as the door opens and we both look to see Alex and Lexie standing there.
"We're here bitches!" Lexie yells and drops a bag full of chips and movies. I smile and sit up so I can look at them, ignoring my heart pounding.
"Hey!" I cheered and walked over to them both before giving them both a hug, but Alex was as stiff as a board. "I missed you two dorks." I smiled, Lexie stood there with a smile on her face and Alex was there with a blank expression. His face hid any sort of emotion.
"We missed you too." She kissed my cheek, we had become like sisters. I moved to let them in and closed the door behind them.
"So what movie is first?"

About an hour and a half into the second Conjuring, I'm curled up next to Andrew on one couch, and Alex and Lexie on the other. Alex hasn't said more than a few words and it's really starting to bug me."Hey Alex?" I whisper and he turns towards me.
"Hm?" He mumbles.
"Can we talk? Alone?" I ask him and he nods. I stand up and walk out the front door with him following closely behind, when we're both out he closes the door after him.
"What's going on?" I ask him worriedly.
"Nothing. I'm fine." His voice was cold.
"No you're not, why won't you talk to me?" I crossed my arms over my chest.
"It hurts doesn't it?" He glared at me. "Knowing someone you love is hurting and they won't let you help." I froze as the words came out of his mouth.
"Wait what?" My face flushed red. "But you don't-"
"What, love you? Of course I love you. I've been trying to tell you this, trying to get you to talk to me but you won't." He speaks angrily, my eyes water.
"Alex." I trail off and look down. "I couldn't talk to you about it, I couldn't tell anyone. I still can't. I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about it."
"Then why does he know?" He crosses his arms.
"Because he showed up to my house and I left the court papers on my bed!" I cover my mouth instantly.
"Court papers?" He asked and finally I see emotion flooding his face, mainly worry and confusion.
"I'm not in trouble, don't worry." I looked down so he wouldn't see my blazing cheeks.
"Look at me." He pressed his fingers to the bottom of my chin and tilted my face up to his. "I'm sorry."
"No I am, I shouldn't have asked you to talk about it, it ended up with me blu-" I got cut off as he kissed me quickly before going inside.
Leaving me confused,
And feeling guilty.
