boys arrived at the hospital and as expected, nothing has changed. zach didn't wake up, his state didn't improve, and they still couldn't know if he would survive. only jack got the courag to see him - jonah, corbyn and daniel were too scared.
when jack is about to open the door of zach's room, a nurse averts him " i don't know if it's useful, he'll probably die. "
but nothing could stop jack.
" i'll see him anyway. "
the nurse raised her eyebrows but let him enter without insisting.
jack was motivated to see him. he comes in and closes the door, wondering why zach still didn't open his eyes but suddenly, he thinks back about the words of the nurse." he'll probably die."and what if zach died now, right in front of him? jack's pulse started beating at 200 - well, that's what he felt - at that thought.
but he wanted to talk to him, so he tries to get out of his mind all these negative thoughts.
" zach, i know i wasn't nice with you but my life is boring without you. i think so much about you that everything i see, hear or say reminds me of you. i even miss your stupid horror movies. "
at that point, it was really serious, because jack used to hate horror movies. well, he didn't really hate them, but he found them not scary at all. and as he thinks about all of that, jack starts crying again. he couldn't imagine his life, his future, just himself without zach. that party in la, their kiss... it wasn't enough, they needed more moments together.
the nurse came in to change zach's infusion. seeing such an amazing person in that state was breaking jack's heart in million pieces.
the nurse leaves as she looks at jack sadly.
" we had really good moments together... remember our kiss, or when we slowdanced. you can't die like that. we need to have more moments together, to make other battles... i just can't live without you. "
jack's tears were flowing as he was thinking back about all of their memories.
" zach, can't you just understand that i love you?! can you fucking wake up?? i mean, two weeks were largely enough."
" i love you too. "
