OMG WHAT

was he dreaming or did he really hear zach answering 'i love you too'? should jack take the risk to open his eyes? he thought that he probably dreamt but he opens his eyes anyway.

achary dean herron was looking at him, smiling. jack couldn't believe his eyes.

" Z-...ZACH???!!! "

he was so surprised that he couldn't speak. his heart was beating too quick. and why does he looks at me so simply?? bro he literally was stuck between life and death for two fucking weeks and now he wakes up like that and acts as if everything was normal???

" why are you looking at me
without saying anything? " questions zach, teasing jack gently.

" tells me the one who didn't wake up for two whole weeks... " mutters jack, still not recovering from the fact that zach did REALLY wake up.

" two weeks?! " exclaims zach, surprised.

" yes. a truck crashed on you, and there was another day when you almost died because your heart stopped. "

" woah... i remember about the truck by the way. i thought about something to say and the first word that came to my mind was- "

" my name " finishes jack, getting emotional. he was still crying, but of happiness.

" why you sad? i woke up! " said zach even though he was crying too.

they were both crying and laughing at the same time. jack's smile has never been so beautiful. he hugs zach as the lattest sighs of relief. zach had that feeling of safety which only jack could give him.

" jack? "

" yeah? "

zach can't help but laugh when he sees jack's face.

" i hate you " he says seriously.

" i hate you even more " jack retorts even more seriously than zach, which makes them laugh again.

zach started having sore ribs by dint of laughing all the time.

" you okay? " asks him jack, seeing zach wincing.

" yeah, don't worry. i rather have sore ribs because i'm laughing too much than because of a truck... " and zach laughs again, making jack rolling his eyes.

" ah, the hospital haven't changed you. you still laugh at everything. still so stupid. "

" but it was so funny! how did you want me to resist?! "

" i've told you the same thing at the party " remembers jack.

" true. "

" oh! " exclaims jack suddenly, jumping from the bed and running till the door.

" is everything alright with you?! " asks him zach, not understanding jack's sudden excitement.

" with all that, i completely forgot to tell the guys that you woke up. i gotta tell them, they won't believe me! "

and jack runs out of zach's room, his noodles (zach used to call jack's hair like that since jack did he first perm) swaying in all directions. it was nice to see jack being so happy.
and it was even more nice to know that the reason of jack's happiness was zach himself.
