Every since the Princess and Prince had arrived they had caused quite a stir in the palace. Queen Jude and King Alfred were in joy while awaiting the return of their children. The King had prepared himself if he had to go against his friend, if any of this children were hurt. When the carriages had arrived they thought they would see a fragile princess stepping out of the carriage. When the Prince stepped out first, everybody just stared at him in awe. He had changed so much. His body structure seemed to have gained some muscles compared to his previous self, and with the sword hanging at his side it gave him an elegant but fierce appearance. No doubt the King was proud of his son.
Prince Trystan stood to the side of the carriage door and stuck his hand out to help his sister down, but what he and nobody expected was that she would actually step down ignoring the outreached hand and stretched. At first nobody knew who the person who just stepped out was. The servants who saw thought the Prince had taken home a lady, but that wasn't the case when they both walked up to the King and Queen bowing their heads. "Greetings mother and father," the two bowed to the King and Queen who had their jaws down in shock just like everybody else.
King Alfred was conflicted, with his crying wife in his study, he couldn't help but stare into nothing. He didn't know if this was something he should bring up to the General, but something in him couldn't get the words out. He had thought he was going to met with a skinny, pale, fragile princess, but instead the person who claimed to be the Princess had a sharp appearance. Though he could see the distinct features of his daughter he couldn't grasp it. It was too much of a change. Queen Jude was complaining about how their little princess wasn't the same. She didn't even stick to her brother, like she always did, instead, after the swift greeting she went her own way into the palace and into her chamber. The clothing that she was wearing were not the dresses that she had packed. And the look that she had on her face was not the gentle, shy look, it was more.....fierce. King Alfred knew he wanted his daughter to grow strong so she wouldn't be taken advantage of but never did it occur to him that the change would be this major. King Alfred didn't know if he should praise the General for the wonders of his training or scold him for turning his daughter into someone who seemed wiser.

Mela was currently getting dressed for the Prince's 20th birthday party. Although she didn't want to go and could just skip out, it would've been a royal--pain in the ass--offense to not attend. She doesn't really care if they hate her but she couldn't drag down this family, after all they weren't half bad.
Although it wasn't an important matter to the General's residence, the servants were running all over the place to get the young miss ready. They wanted her to outshine all the other young ladies there. If she was her previous self the servants wouldn't have put much effort since all she liked was shiny and colorful things, they could've just given her the most glammed dress and she wouldn't have care as long as it was eye catching. But the young miss now was different, she did like shiny things but they were mainly things people would be afraid of. They had even displayed some dresses for her to choose from and she chose the most plain one, but once it was on her she looked elegant but fierce.
The servants worked hard and fast making sure everything was perfect. Although the young miss didn't express anything they could feel the air change around them the longer they took to get her ready, they even had to minimize the times they could touch her, they learned quickly that she hated being touched.
Slona was done getting ready and wanted to check on her daughter. The servants outside the door had yet to see what was going on inside so when the madam arrived they wanted to get a peek at the young miss, who seemed to dazzle the maids who came out of the room. What they saw was out of this world. Even the madam had trouble comprehending what she was seeing. Although young ladies like the miss should dress up in more colorful clothing, the dark navy blue dress she had on made her look as if she was above all others. This was the first time they had seen her in a different style other than in a tight bun or ponytail. Her face looked as if she barely had any makeup on. Her eyebrows were sharp, her mouth was painted a slight red, her eyes were still the fierce uncaring cool look, it made the maids who were at the entrance overwhelmed by her beauty.
Slona couldn't stop looking at her daughter. She felt as if she had finally realized that the girl before her had grown too fast. She had been on the verge of crying multiple times making her maids worried that she was ruining her makeup so to save the maids from constantly reapplying her makeup she had to hold in her emotions. But to her husband and sons she knew men would always be men and not notice anything if a woman had changed something, but when they saw Mela they were as stunned as everybody else who saw her.
Mela was oblivious to the stares that she was given and just wanted this night to be done with, she had other things to take care of. Since coming to this world she found out a lot of secrets that her dear aunt and uncle had done to her family, so she was constantly running around solving each issue one at a time.
