A Thousand Things I Loved About You

they were happy again

until she took the train

she left for one year

and everyday she was gone, he drank a beer

he loved her and she had gone

and he just felt like a stupid pawn

She thought if she left, she could find her way

But she quickly realized that she would always have to pay.

When the time was right, she came home.

But all their memories were hidden in this poem

He tried to dig her out from the pits of hell

But too far down she fell.

"let's take a walk" she said one day

"You don't love me enough." he was sure to say.

So she denied all hope

Secretly, he wanted to elope.

"Let's run away." He yelled

"You told me no." she emailed.

She couldn't look at his face

So he sent her an IM on Myspace.

Soon her parents saw her cuts

They were so mad so she spilled her guts.

The next day she cut to deep.

They rushed her to the hospital and put her to sleep.

He was there day and night

Despite their awful fight.

Let's all appreciate the fact that "He" actually cares ;) ~J
