After those nights, they were strong.

For once, she had a place to belong

For once she didn't want to disappear

She didn't live in fear

She hugged him really tight

And promised she'd be alright.

Her scars were healing

His kisses gave her feeling

"Please just stay" she said

"Always and forever." please let it be true he prayed

They'd see eachother everyday

He would say

"Don't ever stray"

She replied "I won't ever go away."

But the days grew longer.

And she didn't grow stronger.

Eventually the weakness came again

She wanted to tell him but had to refrain

He was to smart and saw her broken smile

He hadn't seen her old self in a while

He liked the new girl she was

But it wasn't her and that made him buzz

She pretended and he knew

And eventually she flew

She was gone in her own mind

A place that he could not find.
