The Road Trip

Chapter 2

All of us are scrambling all over the place to find things to cram into our suitcases. Just then we hear the lock on the door turning.

"Hey guys I'm ho- WHAT HAPPENED HERE!!!!" All you can see is a big shock on Amy's face. Her mouth is literally almost touching the floor.

"Why exactly does this house look like a pigsty all of a sudden. This is not how I left it in the morning. God, leaving you 5 girls home alone is the biggest idiotic thing anyone can do."

"Alright, alright, relax, calm down, it's not even that bad", Zoe takes one look around the house. "Okay, it's just a little messy..."

"A little?" Amy questions her with her eyebrows raised. "I bet you if someone wanted to do a robbery in this house they would probably end up tripping on every single thing on the floor and injure themselves first. And you say, a little."

"And, is that my suitcase in that corner?" Amy asks.

"Oh yeah, we're all going to Queensland" Gracie replies.

"But I don't think I can-" Amy tries to explain but is cut off.

"You're coming and that's it. Your suitcase is all packed and ready to go. Mind you we could fit your whole cupboard in there, you barely have any clothes", Hazel answers.

" Plus, we didn't give Allena any choice and you don't get one either. And besides we need a mother in the group who can control all of us children when we go out of control", Hazel adds.

"Control all of you? What exactly are you all planning to do?" Amy questions worriedly.

"Nothing much just get drunk and squish animals", replies Crissie.

"Squish what now!" I shout.

"Oh you know my love for animals. They are so damn cute I just wanna squish their faces"

"I know right. You just feel like popping them", adds Hazel.

Oh god I think to myself. What have I gotten myself into.

"Has anyone ever told you two that you are bloody INSANE", Amy shouts.

"So when exactly do we board the flight?" asks Amy.

"Oh no honey there is no flight. We are driving there", Zoe answers.

"I'm sorry, did I hear that right?" clarifies Amy. "If you guys haven't realised, we live in Melbourne, that too in the city. Do you even know how long it will take us?"

"Yeah only about a day", answers Crissie.

"Ahem ahem, that's if we drive without stopping, and knowing all of you guys, we will be stopping every 10 minutes because during the whole trip there is going to be, "oh there is a puppy, I want to squish its cheeks" or knowing Zoe, she will be trying to find reception in her phone so she can keep her boyfriend posted of where we are all the time", I respond.

"So in short it will take us an easy two days to get there yeah?" asks Amy.

"Yeah I guess so", I answer.

"Great and we are leaving..."

"Tomorrow morning at 6am. So make sure that everyone wakes up on time", I reply.

We finish all our packing, have dinner and head to bed. As I lay there I am still contemplating whether or not I should go to this road trip. I know that the only reason these girls are doing all of this is just to get a smile on face, they want me to be happy and get over that idiot. If it was in their hands, he would have reached the hospital by now, they would have thrashed him.

A part of me is also excited for tomorrow, although I don't know how all of will go, I definitely know one thing. These girls will do the best that they can to make this trip a blast, and I really shouldn't be the one ruining it for them, after all it's not everyday that you get to have such a crazy bunch of best friends, you have to be extremely lucky for that.

(hey guys, this chapter is a little shorter than the other one. I had to end it off here so that I could start chapter three with them waking up to the road trip.
