I remembered the first time I walked in to the icy penthouse and had my head held high and shoulders back and that's what I'm going to do this time too.
I stepped through the borders and walked down the hill straight to the big house. Once I got there I knocked once,then opened the door to see a centaur talking to a kid and old dude who looks like he just came from a party shuffling cards.
"Hello,there and what's your name"? The centaur asks me.
"Helen Smith daughter of khionie "I introduce myself.
"Oh, yes your mother told me"the centaur says.
"We'll my name is Chiron and I am the activities director and this"he says pointing to the other guy "is Dionysus"
"You will call me Mr.D though ,Melon"Mr.D says.
"It's Helen sir"I respond.
"Chiron are going to play pinochle or what"?Mr.D asks
"Yes,yes ,Helen would like to join us"?Chiron asks.
"Like the girl knows how to play"Mr.D snickers.
"Actually I do know how play and I wouldn't mind playing a game of it"I respond harshly.
"Alright, let's start"Chiron says.
So Mr.D shuffles the cards and passes them out and I got the worst cards ever,but this happened to me before when I played with my grandfather Boreas. So we start a silent game of Pinochle until Mr.D slams down his cards and declares with pride in his voice
"I won"!
"Mr.D I hate to burst your bubble but it seems that have beat you"Chiron says showing his cards.
But I have a even better handful than that because my uncle Zethes showed me a couple of tricks.
"I hate burst both your bubbles but I think I won"I say while showing them my cards. Mr.D looked angry and depressed from losing and Chiron looked utterly shocked that I beat him and I bet that he wins a lot around here.
"Play any time"Mr.D tells me from his expression going from angry to impressed.
"Let's give you a camp tour,shall we"? Chiron says
