Second post today. Not sure what the heck I'm doing but here is the second chapter. And thankum to whoever is reading this. Please give feedback. THANKUM.

Charlie woke from the voice on the intercom, interrupting her sleep. "Please fasten your seatbelts, we are beginning to land. Thank you." She fastened her seatbelt and watched as the plane slowly began to drift towards the ground as the song 'hostage' by Billie Eilish played. The plane jolted onto the runway and the wheels screeched as the plane slowed. Charlie put her book, earbuds, and charger into her bag. She unbuckled her belt and checked her phone one last time before she shoved her phone in her back pocket. The time on phone read seven nineteen in the morning. Wow the time difference is far apart. She thought. Charlie and her family filed out into the walkway of the plane, heading towards the door that led to the airport. The Sawyer family walked out into the airport, they finally made it to London.

The Sawyer family had finished with customs and got their luggage. They walked to the front doors of the airport to call a cab. Charlie's father flagged down a cab and they placed their luggage in the trunk and carried their smaller bags with them in the seats. Charlie's mother told the taxi driver the address and he took off. Charlie watched out the window at the busy city. It was odd seeing things from the other side of the street, she had thought.

As soon as the taxi had came to a stop, Will jumped out of the car and ran towards the small, yet beautiful house. Charlie helped her mother carry the luggage inside while her father paid the driver. Mr. Sawyer grabbed the last of the bags and went inside. Charlie walked down the hall and through all the downstairs rooms. When she had finished exploring the downstairs, she ran upstairs to look through all the bedrooms. She wanted first pick for her room. The first room was small and towards the front of the house looking out at the street. She went to the next room, which was most likely the master bedroom, where her parents would sleep. She went to the third room which turned out to be a small office. The last room was at the back of the house. She walked in and immediately saw the large bookshelf that covered the back halves of left and right walls. To the left there was a white bean bag with a brown, fuzzy teddy bear sitting off to the side of the bean bag. On the right there was a small closet where she could keep her clothes. The window on the back wall, that reached to the ceiling, had a cubby where one could sit to read. The bookshelf on the right had a ladder that led to a twin bed above the books. She climbed the ladder and threw her bag on the small bed. She slid down the ladder and went to grab the rest of her things. She ran downstairs and grabbed her bags. "I picked my room!" She yelled to her parents who were still exploring the downstairs.

"Be fair to your brother, Charlie!" Her mother yelled back.

"I am! I picked the boring room!" She yelled, from her new room for the summer. She climbed the ladder and grabbed her bluetooth speaker out of her bag. She put the speaker on an empty spot among the bookshelf under the bed. She hit shuffle on her phone and the speaker began to play 'bitches broken hearts' by Billie Eilish. She opened the little closet and saw a top shelf above the hanger rack. Below the hanger rack there were drawers. She placed her pants and undergarments in the drawers and hung her shirts on the rack. After she had finished unpacking, she rested her bags on the shelf above the rack. She placed her pillow and blanket on the bed and went to search the books fitted in the shelves. She dragged her fingers along the spines of the books and came to a stop when she saw 'Much Ado About Nothing' by William Shakespeare. She was about to take the book out when her brother screamed, which caused her to jump out of her skin. "What the hell Will!" She yelled.

"Watch your language, Charlie!" Her father yelled in return.

"Sorry!" She rolled her eyes. "But why on earth did Will scream?"
