Warnings: Breakup, Mentions of Sex.
"Y/N come out here!" Your mother yells from the living room. You groan, putting your pillow over your head to cover the sound of your mother yelling. Last night you and your best friend Jon had a long night of drinking and you weren't feeling much like a morning person today.
"Y/N Belgrave!" She yells once more, obviously not going to let you sleep. You roll out of bed almost falling right on the floor but luckily catching yourself before you hit the ground. You make your way out of the room and your mom is in the kitchen heating up some water. She turns around and her eyes widen at your state. "Oh, my gods what happened to you?" She questions, taking my face in her hands.
"I went out with Jon last night, we got a little out of hand," you confess, pulling your face away from her. She rolls her eyes, she has never approved of your friendship with Jon but she knew that you would never listen to her and stop seeing him. Sighing she ushers you to sit as she pours you a glass of tea. "What did you call me out for?" you question, taking a drink of the warm liquid.
"I have been summoned to King's Landing for a few months to assist the queen." She sighs. You nod, not surprised since this type of thing happens often. "I am not going to ask for you to come with but I have made arrangements with Ned for you to stay in the castle with them."
"Why must I stay with them? I am fully capable of staying by myself." you protest, not wanting to have to be watched over like a child.
"You must stay with them because it is not safe for a woman to stay alone." She tells you. "I do not want to hear any protests. It was amazing that Ned offered to watch over you so I expect you to show some gratitude." you groan knowing that she is right but also not happy with the idea of living with the starks for as many months as your mother is going to be gone. She gives you a strict look and your sigh defeated.
"Yes, mother. I will be their perfect guest for Ned and Lady Caitlyn." You smile a little, trying to show her that you mean what you say. She gives you an uncertain look and you sigh knowing that she has a good reason not to trust your words. "I promise I will be on my best behavior." you hold up your hand to testify your statement. She smiles a little at your silly antics.
"You better because I give Ned and Caitlyn my full permission to punish you if you get out of hand." She smirks, grabbing her bag off the ground. you giggle and get up from your chair making your way to her, enveloping her into a hug. She kisses your forehead lightly holding you in her arms. "I will miss you. Please don't make to much trouble for the Starks."
"I won't, I love them too much to make their life harder than it already is." She scoffs at your answer.
"Then you really must not love me." You giggle, pulling out the hug.
"It is my job to make your life hard. That is why you have kids." You smile, as you both walk towards the door. She smiles a little, putting her hand on your cheek.
"Be safe. I will miss you."
"I always am. I will miss you too. Have fun mom." You kiss her cheek and watch her leave out the door heading to the stables to get a horse. Sighing you close the door, going to your room grabbing a bag to pack your things for your stay with the Starks. Living with them would not be much different than your life now. Most of your time was spent in the castle attending Sansa's classes and learning simple self-defense moves from both Jon and Robb. The Starks had become a second family to you and you would not change it for the world. While packing you hear a knock on the door, curious to who could be knocking you answer it seeing Robb with a large grin plastered on his face.
"Robb? What are you doing here?" You question, letting him into the house. He follows you back to your room where you continue to pack your bags.
"My father has informed me that you will be staying in the castle with us. Has your mother finally forgotten how much she dislikes us being around each other?" He chuckles, sitting on your bed.
