Chapter 2: Set Up

After almost 3 months, Candace is studying with me. We both go to the university together but she has different friends.

The boys are on tour that started weeks ago and they might be coming back now or within 2 days, so I was left in the house together with Candace. It was almost 7PM when I reached home. Eleanor and Danielle will be staying with me.

“Oh.” I say after seeing Candace and her friends by the pool, swimming, and it looks like they have a party going on.

“Is that your cousin?” Eleanor asks. “Yah. She brought… some friends… with her?” I say. “Seems that they’re having fun.” Danielle says. “Wanna join them?” I ask them. “No way.” Eleanor says. “They’re wild, we don’t want you on trouble again. Especially, Liam is not here.” Danielle tells me. “If my brother wasn’t you boyfriend—“ “I would still scold you.” Danielle says to me and smirks.

We went to my room, in our PJ’s we had a movie marathon. After like an hour, someone knocked.

Eleanor opened it.

“Hey, you guys wanna join us?! We’re having fun in the pool!” I heard Candace say. “Oh, no, thanks, we’re having a movie marathon.” Eleanor replies. “Come on! Just a little drinks! Let’s go! Tiff!” Candace went in our room and we saw her in a bikini. What the f—.

“Candace! Get dressed! Put a robe on!” I say. “It’s just us! No one will ever see us! Let’s go!” Candace pulls my hand. “Come! Let’s take some drinks!” she tells me. “I want you to meet my guy friend named Tom!”  says Candace. “Tiff, no.” Danielle pulls me back. “Tiff, don’t drink now.” She adds. “Tom looks better than Zayn! Take those off and let’s party!” Candace says. “Candace—“ Eleanor calls her.

“Tom! Come in!” Candace says and a guy wearing only his boxers on and a girl wearing a robe went in. “Look! He looks better than Zayn!” Candace says. “Tom, this is Tiff—“ “Candace!” Danielle shouts. “Could you just please leave? I don’t think that there’s a guy better than Zayn. I don’t feel like having fun tonight.” I tell Candace. “And please don’t mess up. In my house.” I add and sat down again.

“Okay, then, if that’s what you like. Let’s go now guys.” Candace says and leaves the room. I just stare at the television.

“Is your cousin insane?” Eleanor asks me. “She is.” I answer.

Almost midnight and we’re sleeping when someone knocks again. Eleanor and Danielle is sleeping in Louis’ room near me while I was surfing the internet.

I opened the door.

“Oh, hello?” I say. My room is dark, only a lamp near my bed is open and I can’t see anything since there are a few lamps open. I can only see, like a shadow of someone standing in front me.

“It’s Tom and Dave, Candace’s friend.” He says. “Anything we can help?” I say. The guys holds my shoulders and silently kicks the door with his foot. His covers my mouth with my hand.

“Someone just…”

Someone what? I can’t hear them.

I try to move and kick and do self defense but he was too big. As I can see, they are half naked, they’re wearing jeans now and he smells liquor a bit. I try to scream, when he takes his hand off my mouth, I scream. One guy was tying my arms with a small rope while the other has a duck tape and placed it on my mouth?! THEY ARE PREPARED?!?!

“MMM!” I can’t speak at all but to shout in this manner. I’m crying out loud.

“What the f^ck—“ Zayn opens the light and pushes him through the door. “Liam!” Zayn shouts. “Boys!” He says. Zayn takes off the tape on my mouth. “Are you fine?” he asks me. I shake my head.

“What the f^ck are you doing to her?!” Zayn punches him more. “Why—“ Liam says and saw Zayn hitting the guy named Tom and saw me crying at the side, hugging a pillow.

“Tiff!” Niall, Harry and Louis runs to me. Eleanor and Danielle was there too. Niall and Harry took off the ropes that was tied at my arms and my feet.

Liam calls the security while Louis pulls Zayn away from the guy named Tom. Zayn was swearing to the guy so much. Harry hugs me while I cry my heart out.

“What is going—“ Candace comes and looks at me. “Oh my, Tiff, what—“ “I don’t want her in this house.” Danielle says to them. “She’s the guy’s friend!” Eleanor say. “So you?! Did you plan all of this?! Are you f^cking crazy?! She’s my girlfriend and you brought a guy in this house without our permission?! Is this your house?!” Zayn says. “Wait. It wasn’t my fault!” Candace says. “Stop being so innocent. We saw you bring that guy here in her room a while ago when you were asking her to party with you.” Danielle says.

“YOU ARE F^CKONG CRAZY! THAT GUY ALMOST RAPED MY VERY OWN GIRLFRIEND!! WHAT THE F^CK ARE YOU?! YOU ARE SERIOUSLY CRAZY!” Zayn says. “Candace. Get out of the room first.” Liam says and he was with the security. “See you in court.” Louis says to Tom.

Liam closes the door. He looked very mad and pissed and very worried.

Zayn was just crying. It was my first time seeing him that mad that even I got scared. I can’t even let go from Harry, I want my boys’ hug.

Zayn walks towards me and we hugged each other tightly.

“Zayn…” I say while crying. “Are you alright?” Zayn asks me. I shake my head. I’m still speechless, but I try to speak. “You came home…” I tell him. “Did he hurt you? What did he do to you?!” Zayn says and holds my arms and looks around me. “One guy tied me up, and one guy covered my mouth with a duck tape. I… I also saw a guy with a camera… it seems… like someone told them to do… it. You know like what happens in dramas… they make stories out of those photos.” I say and hug Zayn back.

“That is f^cking insane.” Zayn says. “At least we came home early, we saved you.” Niall says. “Thank you.” I hug Niall, and Louis, and Harry again. “I should have let you both sleep with me. I’m sorry.” I tell Danielle and Eleanor. “Next time. Take care of yourself. Everyone loves you.”  Danielle says and they both hugged me.

“We’ll leave you with Zayn now.” Louis says and all of them went out.

“I can’t sleep anymore.” I say. “I’ll sleep with you. I miss you a lot. I don’t want to happen that again.” Zayn says and hugs me.

He changes his clothes and we both slept.

Morning, I didn’t go to school. Eleanor and Danielle left. Liam goes I my room while Zayn was sleeping and I was at the balcony facing the pool and garden. We had a talk.

He told me that Candace is not going home but she’ll stay in the HQ’s dorm for punishment. Liam told me that they’ll give me security too after from what happened. I’m excused for a week in school to adjust from what happened. I told Liam,

“I guess they didn’t want rape me but just to set it up, tie me up, shut me up, and take photos of me with a guy. We studied this at the HQ right?” I tell Liam. I am still using my agent skills. I am still agent X43.

“You’re right there… I guess it was all a set up. Someone asked them to do it. But I’m glad they didn’t hurt you. Did they? Did they touched you?” Liam asks me. “No. They just tied me up and placed a duck tape on my mouth.” I say. “M will investigate what happened. No worries. Go to bed now. We have a week to spend with you.” Liam says.

“Liam,” “Rest first, I’ll handle it well. Take a good rest with Zayn, he’s tired.” Liam tells me. “Go to sleep too, you look so tired.” I tell him. Liam goes out of the room and I went back to bed.

I’m actually not worried at all from what happen, what I only want to know, who asked them to do that to me? Someone wants to ruin me and Zayn’s relationship. And I want to find it out.

After a week, Candace is not yet home and I haven’t see her in school. I have 2 security guards with me now, and if Liam has his free time, he drives me to the university.
