A/N: The picture on the side looks really bad, 'cause Megan Fox is not fat all all! :P
Oh, and she plays Arya in this story :)
Silence, that was all I could hear.
A chill, that was all I could feel.
Darkness, that was all I could see.
I didn't know where I was or who I was with. Strangely, I wasn't scared. The little voice at the back of my head was whispering something to me but it was all ghostly, so I couldn't really understand anything. Soon, the voice got louder and louder which caused me to cringe, then, as quick as a lightning bolt, a brilliant white light shone through. I flinched at the sudden colour and cursed at who ever there was for there were spots dancing around my vision.
When my eyes had adjusted, I saw that I wasn't alone anymore. There was some guy standing only a couple of metres away from me. The way he stood, it looked like he owned the place. You could tell that he was arrogent but very powerful. Just his height was enough to make any man cry, he had to be around 6"8, plus he was well built. He was good looking over all and the scars on his cheek challenged anyone to fight with him. He wore a simple white t-shirt with black jeans. He also wore combat boots and a leather duster. I had to squint slightly to notice that an iron padlock necklace hung on his neck. I couldn't see his eyes because they were hidden under a red tinted wraparound sunglasses, then again, I wasn't sure if I wanted to see them.
Whoever he was, he better not mess with me. Besides, I thought I'd passed out? So, how come I'm now seeing this guy? Talk about a weird experience. I frowned a little inside when I caught him smirk at me, almost as if he just read my mind. "Well, it's about time," he said. His voice was stronger than titanium and deep, wow this guy had it all.
When I absorbed what he had just said, I replied with, "it's time for what?"
He smirked even bigger and began to walk closer. Now, normally, a normal person would cower and ran away instandly. But I wasn't on of them. I straightened up my back and squared my shoulder. "Confident, are we?" he laughed but I could trace a hint of pride in his voice.
"What's it to you? Who are you anyway?" I questioned. I was showing my confidence but I was smart as well, I knew that I shouldn't push his buttons too far.
"That's right boy. You shouldn't do that." Ok, that was a little scary.
I inhaled through my nose and then said, "you can read my mind?"
The stranger gave me a one sided, toothy smile before saying, "perhaps. But now it's time for you to wake up."
"How do you know? Who are you?" I wondered skeptically.
"My name is Ares. Bye Marcus...for now, at least." With that he turning his back on me and strolled away.
The minute he took his third step, another screen of pure white hit my eyes. "Gah!" I cried out. The next thing I know, reality met up with me. With a groan I opened my eyes and shielded them just as quickly because of the brightness. Man, I hate bright colours now.
Once my eyes had adjusted to my new surroundings, I blinked a couple of times and pushed myself up so that I was sitting up. Weird dream much? I didn't notice that I wasn't alone until I heard a feminine voice say, "oh good. You're awake."
I gazed at Arya and said, "how long was I out?"
"About a day and a half. Don't worry, you're safe now." Oh, how reasuring. I'm in a room with...god knows what. Wait, a demi-lord...no...a demi-god, that's it.
