Red walked and walked, her feet still trembling from the lack of energy. She did not know how long it would take to find the hallway, but she kept hope that it'll appear before her eyes if she walked far enough. Her steps were frail yet full of faith -- youth still radiated from her soul, enough to keep her going.

The hope she held within her heart proved to be true -- after quite a while she found the hallway. But things had changed in it.

Noticeably larger, it had sprouted into branches, leading to multiple doors. Red cautiously peeked into a branch. There was nobody in it, nothing besides the massive amount of doors casually littered on the walls. She had a bad feeling about these doors -- it felt like they were false, only there to deceive her. Still, she approached one.

The labels were different. Red couldn't put her finger on it, but the handwriting felt different to the original doors -- more ragged and smudged, as if the writer were in a hurry or enraged.

Exiting the false branch, Red advanced through the hall, letting her intuition guide her. It led her to a branch somewhere in the middle of the hallway. Red knew this was the right one -- the air was lighter, and the bad feeling in her chest disappeared. However, things had changed in this hallway as well.

The door "Child" was missing, leaving nothing but an empty doorway, leading to a brick wall. Black paint was splashed all over the wall unevenly; the culprit had let some of the paint hit the doorway and the hallway's walls enveloping it, staining what would otherwise be pure White.

"...So where I go?" Red mumbled.

She reached for the doorknob of the next door, "Play". It turned.

The door had been unlocked.

Taking a few steps back, hand still on the knob out of fear that it may lock itself, Red took a few deep breaths.

And with just a tad bit of uncertainty, she opened the door and entered the door of Play.

(I know basic grammar. Red forgot hers. Just a PSA.)
