Alone

Hello guys, gals and non binary palls. Guess who finally sit her butt down and decided to write a new chapter? I know I know.. It's been months but I've said I didn't have any time or motivation.

I hope you'll like this chapter :3

Roman's P.O.V.

"Okay okay.." Derek slowly pulled away "Okay that happened" he cleared his throat "So instead of sitting here playing my psychologist, how about trying to figure out what you'll do with Megan?"

I sighed. He was right. "I don't know what to do Derek.."

Derek scoffed "You really Care for your reputation so much?"

"Said Derek." I glanced at him

"Yeah okay true.."

"It's not my reputation as a popular kid that matters.." I sighed "My family is supposed to be ""the perfect family'"...Imagine the reaction of my lucky parents when they find out their son is-"

"Gay"

"Exactly..."

"You are sure they will react badly? I mean being part of the lgbtq+ community is pretty normal-"

"Not for them Derek...not for them.." I rubbed my arm nervously and looked down "Plus I don't want Virgil to get hurt...physically...Megan is crazy and knows people..what if they-?"

Derek sighed and leaned on a wall "Oh yeah they totally will.."

"Yeah- Wait." I looked at him "Did they-" I knew Derek had some weird scars on his right part of face that kinda looked like snake scales. They weren't very visible but still there. He said that they happened cause of an accident but-

"No no..." He nervously and subconsciously traced his fingers on the scar. "I just know she..knows people..scary people"

I stayed in silence for a moment. For him even I might seemed tall, because of the height that sortie had but I think that wasn't the case here. "Stay safe Dee...I'll see what I'll do...god...I can't believe this is actually happening.."

Derek placed his hand on my shoulder and smiled a bit "It's gonna be okay Roman. And...you can count on me if you want"

"Thanks Dee" I smiled softly to him.

Patton's P.O.V.

I walked in school with Logan. After the incident me and him had gotten pretty close. We walked to the lockers and saw many students around a locker

"We don't accept snakes in our school!" someone yelled before we heard a locker door slamming and seeing Derek pushing his way out of the crowd. He completely ignored them, even though he seemed low key hurt, and walked to class

"Wow..News travel fas- Logan you okay?" I glanced at Logan seemed zoned out. "Logan!"

Logan snapped out his thoughts and looked at him "Y-Yes?"

I frowned slightly but tried to hide it. "You still like him?" That kinda hurt. But why? It's not like I have a crush on Logan...right..?

Logan glanced over the crowd again "No. Not I do not. It's just..even after all the pain he put me through..it hurts seeing him hurt." he shook his head "It's weird I know. I'm not used to being empathetic..I don't know why now." He stated. "Let's just go to class."

I nodded slightly and walked with him

"Guys!" Someone yelled. I turned and faced Roman "Oh hey R-"

"I need help with something-"

"Hey guys." Virgil walked behind us.

Roman paused.

"Yes? How can we assist you?" Logan asked him

"what's wrong?" Virgil asked

"Uhhh...With some homework yknow..if it's possible"

"sure. We can talk after class" Logan said and I nodded

Roman smiled..rather nervously and looked at Virgil "Hey...Love"

"Hey babe" Virgil kissed his cheek "Something's wrong?"

"I-"

I squealed "AHHH! You guys are a couple?!?"

Roman looked around nervously and nodded quickly "Yes..But lower your voice please" 

"Why? Are you ashamed for dating me..?" Virgil looks at Roman

"No no! It's just-"

"It's alright Roman. You aren't out yet. I understand" he smiled "Come on let's go to class

Roman bit his lip "Mhm yeah.."

Logan walked to class with Virgil and I held Roman back "Are you okay Ro?"

"Uhhh yea. Why?"

"You are acting..strange-"

"I'm alright Patton!" Roman smiled "Let's go" he walked to class and I followed.

Roman's P.O.V.

I faked a smile and walked to class with Patton. I suddenly realized...I can't tell them. If I do..I will get them involved in this and maybe they will get hurt as well. It's better to keep this a secret and deal with it myself.

It's another problem to deal with...alone.

Logan's P.O.V.

I sat at the middle of the class and took out my notebook. Patton's words were spinning in my head. Did I still like Derek? But he hurt me, he hurt my friends..he hurt everyone. He was a hypocrite, why was I still...in love with him? Why was I still feeling empathy for him?

I buried my head in my hands and sighed.

Ugh this is why I hate feelings. And what will the others think If I tell them that I still have feelings for that...that snake!

It's another problem to deal with..alone.

Virgil's P.O.V.

I sat at the back of the class. Okay I understand that Roman doesn't want others to know but..he seemed nervous even in front of Logan and Patton..maybe he is ashamed of our relationship.. I mean why is he acting so weird? He didn't even look at me and when I kissed him his body tensed up.

I just hope he isn't using me like...like other people I used to know..

But I can't say anything to anyone. I mean, they will will think I'm some short of clingy and needy crybaby..

It's just another problem to deal with..Alone.

Patton's P.O.V.

Even since the incident, every one seems so..distant. I thought it would make us get closer but instead...it's making us drift apart.

Roman seems nervous about something he doesn't want to talk about.

Logan is denying his feelings towards Derek but I'm almost sure he is lying.

And Virgil...He seems like he is hiding something. Some short of..pain. Every time I try to ask him, he changes the subject of the conversation

It's like no one trusts me anymore...not even my childhood friend

And now I feel so...

Alone..
