Dear Bully,

Today I got double the beating i would normally get since my fathers girlfriend was helping him. I forgot to cook them dinner last night and when I got home from work they were already passed out from the alcohol to do anything to me.

I had to use all of my makeup to cover the bruise but it wasn't enough you could still see some of the darker ones through the makeup. I had bruises all up my arms and legs, I had some on my face and a large bruise on my neck from when fathers girlfriend nearly choked me to death.

It was so painful.

I couldn't breathe, my throat burned, my feet weren't touching the ground and that surprise me since she doesn't seem strong but then again I'm probably underweight from starvation.

So I had to wear a hoodie to cover my face as well as my arms and neck. Hopefully no one will notice the dark bruises.

Well you know how I hoped that no one will notice the bruises unfortunately for me you did Nathan.

In my third class you decided to sit next to me. I thought it was strange and it caused me a little bit of anxiety which caused to pull at my jumper sleeves throughout the whole lesson, which I probably shouldn't have done. You can't blame me I didn't know what you were going to do or say.

You were silent for entire lesson. Every now and then you would look at me as if you wanted to say something but didn't. I thought you didn't notice my bruises.

Boy was I wrong.

It was break after third class. When the bell went I ran I didn't wait for no one. I could hear you yelling my name but I didn't stop. Eventually I made it to the tree, sat down and closed my eyes.

Why were you calling my name?

What do you want from me?

Well Nathan you followed me didn't you. As soon as you reached the tree I was sitting underneath, you fired your questions at me.

'How did you get those bruises?'

'Who did this to you?'

'Why are they hurting you like this?'

I think the thing that surprised me the most was when you said

'Please tell me I want to help you but I can't to that if you don't tell me what happened.'

I must admit that when I heard your pleading voice begging me to tell you why I'm hurt, it was really sweet to hear that someone cared for me even if it was only for a little while.

Well I didn't tell you about how I got all of these bruises and you looked hurt by that but didn't push me to tell you which I was thankful for.

I was a little confused on why you were talking to me but I kinda liked it.

We ended up talking for the whole of break and all of lunch underneath the tree. By the end of lunch I had forgiven you but I won't forget what you have done.

So now we surprisingly friends. This day has turned from terrible to one of the best day since my mum passed away.

I'll write tomorrow Nathan. Your broken girl,
