Chapter Seven

*Gabbie POV*

Sleep was a futile thing. Tossing and turning. Feeling this imense power build inside me, full of anger that set my body alight, fear that froze me to my very sole and a fear of the unknown. Somewhere within there was a spark of hope, that everything will be alright because even if I do kinda die while getting my revenge I honestly have nothing to lose. Or do I? Rick is nice, sure but I have only known him for a day. Hmmm.... I wonder if I could get into his mind... And get to know him! But I guess that he will want to see my memories and I'm not ready for that. Hell I hate to remember them myself nevermind showing them someone else.

I wonder what Rick is doing right now? I guess I could just 'connect' to him using the mind link.

Concentrating and focusing my mind took a while but I soon had it and I was submerged into Rick's mind.

I really need to re-decorate my room... What colour are Gabbie's eyes? I bet the colour would look amazing in here... What if she found that weird? We only just met and she has already found her enemy that caused her so much pain. And what she did outside? That was amazing I have never seen a beginner control their power so well... My Power Partner is amazing. He sighs and leans back on his bed and looks at his ceiling which is covered with random paintings, most of them dark skies with a moon of fire with ice drawn several times. He moves his hand towards pots of colourful water and starts to paint on his ceiling.

The dream... Could it be a fortelling? It seemed so real and then she made me the braclet He looks down at his wrist where the fire was still pulsing in time to his heart beat Wait. Limp blonde hair... Someone she hates.... Oh s**t... Its Courtney. Gabbie is going to fight Courtney. I watched as the water he was moving started to boil just like his temper. I will have to talk to the guys and get her training as soon as possible, I can't stop her but maybe I can keep her a teeny bit safer.

I seperated my mind from his, he actually cares about me and doesnt see my revenge as stupid. The training? That should be fun! Wonder is Troy or Miles are about... Ugh my sholders are aching geez...

Time to lie... My sholders hurt and Rick is asleep but I was wondering if you wanted to train for a bit to tire me out?

He went silent as if thinking about before saying

Sure why not. Meet you in the hall in 5mins

The link was cut off and I ran to my wardrobe to get some old clothes but when I got there a pair of leggings and a vest top were hanging there with a note attached, "These are fireproof traing clothes, good luck controlling your powers - Miss Harris"

Woah fireproof? That means I dont have to worry about being naked!! Awesome!

Guess its time to get this training started.
