So, We're Now Heroes?

Chapter 3

3rd POV

Ever since Yin got her powers she's been putting it in good use, and by good use I mean scaring people secretly to drop their food. 

Yin was at the rooftop with her two childhood friends, munching on a bag of chips. The two boys looked at the girl with a questioning look.

How can this slim and slender girl have a big appetite? Not even her friends since elementary knows, it's quite a mystery.

"Shwuld we skship? (Should we skip?)" The paled skin girl asked as she talked with her mouth full. 

"Don't eat with your mouth full, idiot." Rin said as he flicked her forehead, Yin just gave him a look that said 'Okay, Mom.'

Rin just rolls his eyes at his immature friend. Joichiro looks up from his phone and thought of something, the other two looked at him with a questioning look. 

"Let's go back to the library, I've been wondering about that book." The brunette says in a bored tone, Yin gulped her chips which made her choke, she grabbed her soda and chugged it down while coughing.

"I completely forgot about that." Yin said as she immediately stood up and grabbed her remaining food off the ground and onto her arms.

"Lunch is almost over, so we need to go now." Yin announced as she headed towards the door, the two followed behind the girl to get their bags.

-time skip-

The three just entered the huge old library and headed towards Yin's habitat. Yin wasted no time in pulling her food out her bag and started eating. The two boys tried looking for the book, while the female just ate.

It's been 5 minutes and they still haven't found the book, by this time the female was eating a lollipop, as she sat down bored.

The boys continued to look and Yin just licked her lollipop. As Yin was looking around she noticed something above Rin's head, she realized it was the book.

"Hey Rin." Yin called out to the red-head.

"Talk later, I'm looking for something." Rin replied not looking at her, the pale girl noticed the book was about to fall so she called the redhead out.

"Rin, I really need you to listen." Yin said staring at the book.

"Yin, later." The redhead replied in a pissed off tone.

"No but seriously, I need you to lis-" Before she could finish Rin cut her off.

"What the Hell do you want?! Can't you see I'm doing some-" Before he could finish the book had already fell and hit him in the head, the redhead crouched down while  clutching onto his head in pain.

The redhead looked up to see Yin holding the book and holding her middle finger up with a look that said 'Bitch'.

"You good?" Joichiro asks chuclkling a bit, the redhead just nods as he got up.

Yin opens the book and her eyes widened, she saw a picture of three figures in black cloaks. Their faces were covered by the hood, but for some reason looking at the picture made her heart pound.

The left figure was holding a thumbs up with a big grin, the middle figure had long almost white hair and holding up their middle finger with a smirk, the right figure was smiling really wide holding up a peace sign, as if a they were a kid.

Yin showed the picture to the guys and they looked at it in awe, they were impressed by it. Though their hearts were pounding but brushed it off.

Rin grabbed the book and flipped the page, the next page was still blank. He flipped through more and noticed a page with words written.

"The young heroes needed more training, they were too weak to defeat the next big challenges in their quest. A school made for the young heroes are awaiting for their return." Rin said aloud, Joichiro had a confused look, so did Yin.

"Awaiting for their return? But we haven't even seen-- let alone knew about the school." The brunette says thinking.

"This may be the second week of the weird shit, but doesn't it feel like we're being rushed a bit?" Yin said with her eyebrows furrowed a bit, the two boys stared at her waiting for her to continue.

"I mean, after we found this book we immediately encountered that shadowy piece of shit, and I got it's powers. Now we're probably gonna be escorted to a new school by some secret organization." She said saying the last sentence with sarcasm. 

"She kinda does have a point. I even noticed we were being rushed a bit. As if there was no time left." Joichiro said a little bit confused. 

"Usually in comics it would take them a bit more time before receiving their powers." Yin said holding up one of her mangas.

"Anyways, was that the only thing that was inside the book?" Joichiro asks the redhead. 

"Besides the picture and the page from a few weeks back, that's it." He said as he closed the book, Yin made her way to her bag and picked it up and wore it, just as her bag was now placed on her back the ground started shaking dangerously.

The three had trouble standing up properly that they held onto the shelves.

"What the fuck?! What's with this earthquake!?!?" Joichiro yells as he gripped onto the shelves tighter, just then the ground they were on started cracking.

"OH WHAT THE THE FUCK?!" Rin said as he looked at the ground.

"WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON?!!?" Joichiro yells as he gripped onto the shelves fer his dear life.

"ARE WE LITERALLY THE ONLY ONES HERE?! WHERE IS THAT LIBRARIAN?!" Yin shouted looking around. Just then the ground opened up a black hole and the three fell in it.

"WHAT ARE WE?! ALICE IN FUCKING WONDERLAND?!?!" Yin screams pulling down her skirt, the other two just yelled for their lives.

"THE GROUND!!! OH JESUS CHRIST THE GROUND IS GETTING CLOSER!!!" Joichiro shouted while pointing to the ground.

"WELL WE BETTER ACCEPT OUR FUCKING FATES!!!!" Yin and Rin yelled in unison, the two looked at each other.

"JINX!!!" They said. 

"WE ARE GOING TO DIE!!!!" Joichiro said snapping the two out. The ground came closer and closer and the three just screamed for their dear lives.

The three shut their eyes as they were just a few more feet from the ground, they braceed themselves for the pain and their deaths. But they felt nothing, they just stopped falling. They opened their eyes to see what happened.

As they opened it, they levitated a few centimeters from the ground to avoid them getting hurt and die. The three sighed in relief.

Yin put her feet on the ground and stood up, the other two followed. They looked around and saw a door, they made their way to the door and opened it.

What they saw was a school, a really big one.

Is this where they'll learn to get stronger in the future?

"Where the hell are these feathers coming from?" Yin questioned. The other two just facepalmed.
