So, We're Now Heroes?

Chapter 4

3rd POV

The three looked at the school in awe, they entered the door and as they looked behind them it was gone. The thing behind them was a fountain, they wondered where the door was, but someone called their attention.

"Hello there." The mysterious person said, Rin turned around and saw a guy with a beard. He jumped because the mystery dude was literally a few centimeters apart from his face.

"Oh shit-" He said as he put a hand over his fast beating heart, Yin practically pulled Rin aside and went in front of the mystery dude.

"MERLIN!!!" She yelled at his face, the two boys just looked at her with wide eyes. They couldn't believe she just yelled 'Merlin' at some person they just met.

"Ho ho, hello there young child." He said as he pat Yin's head with a warm smile. Yin just chuckled at how she was being patted on the head.

Sooner the old man stopped and looked at the three of them.

"Welcome young heroes, we've been waiting for your return for centuries." The old man said with a really happy smile, the three looked at him confused. Rin decided to speak.

"Sorry, but this is the first time we've been here." The redhead said, the man just chuckled and didn't reply. 

"Please follow me, let's have a little snack shall we?" The old man said as he walked away, the three were confused why he didn't answer their question. Despite he brought up 'snacks', Yin didn't really seem to care at the moment.

The three followed behind the old man, they went inside the school and entered a certain a door. Inside the door there was a table that had 4 chairs on it, on the table there were pastries and some drinks.

The old man went ahead and sat down, the three just stood there looking at the beautiful scenery before their eyes. The old man just chuckled at their faces.

The three then proceeded to sit down on the three vacant seats, once they sat down Yin grabbed a macaroon and started eating it. Her two friends grinned at her a bit.

"So, can we know your name?" Joichiro asks the old man, the old man took a sip from his drink and placed it back down. He looked at Joichiro with the same warm smile.

"My name is Merlin. Just like the young lady said." He replied, the three looked at him with widen eyes, the two boys turned their heads to a Yin who's cheeks were full with the pastries.

Yin noticed their looks and swallowed her food and drank her drink.

"I didn't know that was his name! I was just kidding around! I mean anyone would yell 'Merlin' at him, he looks exactly like Merlin! With his beard and his hat!" Yin reasoned.

'I think you'll only do that'  The two boys thought as they sweatdropped at their weird childhood friend.

"Anyway, welcome to Coralia. A school to help your abilities to help you in the future." Merlin said, the three slowly nodded to what he said. Just then a maid with braids and glasses appeared behind Merlin.

The three literally wondered when she arrived, though Merlin knew she was there. He turned around to face the maid.

"Hello Matilda." Merlin said greeting the maid, Matilda just nods in response.

"Can you please escort these 3 to get them started?" Merlin asks kindly, Matilda looks at the three, her eyes widened a bit. She nods.

"Hello, please follow me." She said, the three slowly nods and stood up from their seats.

After a bit of walking Matilda entered a room while the three just waited for her to come out, sooner or later she came out holding some clothes. She passed them to the three.

"What's this?" Joichiro asks.

"Uniforms." She stated, the three slowly nodded. 

"Where do we change?" Yin asks. Matilda told them to follow and they did. They arrived and in front of them were two rooms.

"Wait, this is a restroom, isn't it." Rin says, Matilda just nods. The two boys went to the right room while Yin went to the left.

 Joichiro's POV

JESUS. HOW'D THEY KNOW OUR SIZES????

I looked over at Rin and he was already tying his tie, while I was still putting the shirt on. After a few minutes we looked at ourselves in the mirror. Not bad.

We left and waited for Yin. After a few minutes something flew out the room where Yin was, Rin and I was kind of startled by it. We looked at the object Yin threw, it were a pair of white doll shoes?

"Why's that there?" I asked pointing at it and facing Rin.

"She probably didn't wanna wear it, she just wanted to wear her high tops." Rin said shurgging. I nod in response.

After a few minutes Yin left the room with her backpack and eating food. I cringed at her eating inside a restroom.

"Don't you feel disgusted that you were eating in a restroom?" I said looking at her like some sort of monster.

"If you entered that place, it would no longer be a restroom but a lounge room with stalls." She said pointing at the room behind her with her thumb.

Matilda suddenly appeared behind me and Rin which made us back up startled.

"Jesus fucking christ-" Rin said holding his chest.

"Goddamn-" I said feeling my fast beating heart.

"Um, Hello?" Yin said, well, more like asked.

"Please follow me." She said as she started going somewhere. We followed and I asked Yin for a snack, she threw me a pack of gummies.

We've walking for some minutes and we went to a forest...

....Is she going to murder us? 

"Don't worry, I have no intentions of killing you three." She said in a monotone voice. We laughed awkwardly, we walked a little more and we see a really bright light somewhere.

The three of us slowly followed Matilda towards the branches blocking the view from where that light was coming from.

We passed through the branches, and what we saw made our eyes pop out.
