It all began with a rainy day

Chapter 52

It's been a month since I lost the baby and my life has been a mess I stayed in bed everyday while Luke goes to his tours and interviews my baby bump has gone along with my cravings and morning sickness I still felt terrible for the baby's death why did it happen to me to us ,I haven't eaten in days I was starving I dragged my self out of bed and slowly walked down the stairs to the kitchen I opened a few cupboards and looked to see what I could have in the end I just had some plain toast . Luke was out with the guys doing stuff Chloe was probably with them too . I sat at the table and opened my laptop I haven't been on it in weeks it had a thin layer of dust on top I blew it off and turned it on . I had 25 emails all from Justine I felt horrible for not answering them I quickly replied back to her hoping she forgives me .

Me- hello I am so sorry for not answering your emails

I waited a few minuets for a reply I looked at the time it was 2:00 on the afternoon I can't believe I just woke up. A few minuets later she replied

Justine- it ok I was starting to think that something has happened ,are you ok ?

Me - I'm ok ,something did happen that's why I haven't been answering back to you

Justine- what is it did Luke break up with you

Me - no it's not that if I tell you promise me this won't affect our friend ship

Justine - yes I promise you can tell me anything Daniella

Me - we'll I was pregnant for 4 months but I lost it last month I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier

Justine -what you was pregnant I am so sorry that you lost it I wish I could give you a hug huge right now how did Luke take it

Me- he was so upset it was his and mine first child it was heart breaking seeing him like this but he is getting over it slowly unlike me

Justine- how are you feeling about it

Me- I feel like shit I just got out of bed in ages and I just can't believe I have lost my baby Justine it's my fault

Justine - Daniella I am so sorry but it's not your fault it happens don't hate your self because of this I'm sure you are going to have other kids

Me-maybe but that was our first we was so prepared for it

Justine- yes it was your first but you are strong and you will get over it that baby will always be in your heart

Me -thank you Justine that made me feel a lot better.

I was emailing Justine for hours talking about me and Luke's wedding and all the gossip It was getting late and Luke wasn't back yet I was starting to miss his warmth I made some coffee to boost my energy and turned over to the music channel and watched 5 seconds of summer don't stop I had to say Luke looked really hot in thoughts tight tights . A few minutes later I heard the door creek open

" Daniella I'm home where are you " Luke said

" I'm in here Luke " I replied

He rushed into the living room and his face was so happy to see me I smiled and got up I gave him a big hug and kiss I haven't felt his soft lips in weeks he held me tight and lifted me up the ground

" I love you Luke I'm so sorry I haven't been with you "

" I love you to don't worry about that I love you ,I love you "

He kissed my lips again I pulled away and sat on the sofa I patted next to me and he sat down a bit far away I rolled my eyes and moved up resting my head on his chest he smoothed my hair

" Luke what did you today " I asked him

" I went to Ashton's house played some music with that awesome guitar you gave me " he replied

" how is everyone"

" they are all good they miss you and your happiness "

" I missed that too " I replied sighing

" my poor baby i love you so much you know that don't you " he said

" I know you do and I love you back "

We both smiled at each other and I buried my face in his chest we watched a bit of TV I looked out the window it was starting to get dark I pulled Luke off the sofa and took him outside I laid on the grass and looked up at the sky

" Daniella what are you doing " he asked

" join me we can look up at the stars maybe there is a new little star up there " I said

I held my hand out he grabbed it softly and sat down with me he put his arm behind my head and I moved closer. the sky quickly darkened and was filled with bright twinkling stars me and Luke searched through the sky looking for that one bright tiny light . I draped my arm over Luke's chest and moved in for a hug I was cold the bitter wind moved past us he kissed the top of my head and cuddled me I was warm again . We spent hours talking and laughing and looking up at the beautiful sky I placed my hand on my chest I could feel my heart beating I closed my eyes and thought about our baby .

" come on Daniella let's go in " Luke said

" ok Lukey "

We walked in and went up the stairs I got into my pyjamas and got inside the covers Luke joined me and wrapped his arm around my waist kissing the back of my neck

" Daniella this is going to be a new leaf for us " he said

" yes we will focus on the wedding and what lies ahead " I replied

" good night my beautiful angle " he said

" good night my sweet " I replied

He kissed my cheek and snuggled close to me I closed my eyes and fell to sleep in Luke's arms
