"She's gone."

"What?! NO! THIS- THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING-" Glimmer began to scream, but her voice suddenly began to fade out as I felt my whole world collapse.

'No.'

I took a shaky step back, seeing my eyes get blurry from the tears that threatened to fall.

'This isn't happening. This is all a Dream. No- this is a nightmare. I'm about to wake up any second in the forest, cuddling into Adora's warm embrace and then she'll open her beautiful blue eyes and smile because she's filled with life.'

I felt like the air had been sucked out of my lungs.

Like I was underwater and I couldn't seemed to get enough oxygen.

I saw Glimmer pounding the floor as the crop-top boy, who I still don't know the name of, hugged her tightly as tears spilled out of his brown eyes...

I couldn't hear anything.

Only the very loud pounding of my heart.

*Ba-dump*

I looked at the vitals...

*Ba-dump*

The heartbeat line was flat...

*Ba-dump*

I looked at her body...

*Ba-dump*

She was paler than usual and her chest had stopped rising up and down-

Why isn't it rising up and down???

Why isn't she moving???

Why isn't she breathing???????

I bent down on my knees as the tears spilled out of my eyes and I covered my mouth to muffle my ugly sobs...

How could she be gone????

How could she leave me????

She said she would come back!!!

She said she would come back to me!!!

She promised!

By now, my body was shaking violently...

She can't be gone.

"*sobbing* p-please..... Adora-" I barely coughed out.....

"Come back to me...." I finished, in between sobs as I looked at her body expectantly...

Nothing.

No motion.

No sound.

Just. Nothing.

I don't know what I was expecting.

Love hurts.

Especially when you least expect it to.

Love is inevitable without pain.

And I'm pretty sure that nothing could heal how broken I felt right now.

How sad...

How lonely...

How alone I feel.
