We managed to get all our stuff together and prepared supplies for two months in the span of 15 minutes, and let me tell you. Jess, when excited, can be inspiring, scary, and hyped, all at the same time. It's almost a little scary how easily she can go from about to do... that, to being the bounciest one of all of us. But, I can at lease tell she's being genuine at the moment. I honestly think sometimes that I'm closer to her then Cory ever was, but I'm close with everyone, so... Eh, whatever.
"And, that's everything. Checked through three times, not including the initial pack, and we've got it all!"
"Alright! Let's get going!" I'm so hyped that I was basically hovering with how much I was bouncing.
"Wait for just a few more minutes Jon. We're trying to contact Dawn to see if we can send him the coordinates so he can meet up with us there."
"Ugh, why are you so formal Nick?" I hoped the sarcasm came across in my voice, as I did understand how important it was that our second in command, the one who was in charge at the moment while Emily is... unable to do so herself. I hate saying things like 'captured' or 'being held prisoner'. It just sounds too melancholic for my liking.
"Babe, you all right?" I was snapped out of my thoughts by the thick British accent.
"Yeah, I was just having an internal monologue with myself to let the readers know my general thought process." He simply turned from me and sighed at my statement.
"I mean, I don't mean to be the pot calling the kettle black here, but that seems like it just got real metta somewhere. Look Jon, this isn't just fiction. This is reality. I bet we all have internal monologues with ourselves, but that reasoning just isn't right. I mean, if it was, why did we have such a bad ending? I thought stories were meant to end on a good note?"
"That's why there's a sequel! So we can all have a happy ending!" It's as if he doesn't know how these things work. Or is the author just trying-
"Will you two stop that? It's weird thinking about that kind of thing. Dawn has just told me that he'll meet us there." Nick interrupted our conversation about this book to let us know that we can get going! Yay! I'm so hyped for this!
"Yaaaasssssssss, finally! It's been ages since we've seen Emily and Tommy!" Jess seemed more hyped then me... Somehow...
"Then let's go load the ship and start our journey. It shouldn't be long, as the ship is scarily close to Mars." And with that, we all went off to load the ship, but I just had to stop and think to myself.
"Wait a minute... We haven't been to school for a year... And it was our final one... Oops."
"Jon hurry up you pillock."
"Coming hun!" Rushed after the others to complain to Uni for using another goddamn British insult that I have no clue as to its meaning. At least when he calls me a 'Bloody idiot' I know what he's saying...
~Holy shit i'm sorry I thought I posted this. I apparently didn't. Should hopefully get the next part out Sunday, though no promises because I've been preparing for a presentation to my whole class Friday. I'll try my best and i'm once again sorry aahhhh~
