Later in the evening when dinner was done, I sat by the fireplace with Simon. Simon kept apologizing profusely for touching me at the hot tub and accidentally stealing my virginity. I forgave him about the hot tub incident and explained to him that it was also my fault about what happened last year at my friends cottage. Simon ended up being a really cool guy. I always knew he was kind from last year but it was nice talking to him and clearing things up. I even told Simon about my Lachlan problem and how he's ditched me and ignored me. He hasn't sent any texts at all. Simon comforted me and told me that maybe I should talk to him. All I did was shrug.
We were the only people at the fire place which was surprising since the fire place was in the lobby. Simon and I chatted until we were interrupted by an angry voice.
"What the fuck."
I turned around to see Lachlan standing there with his hands balled into fists.
"Lachlan..."
I started to say but his eyes were fixed on Simon. Simon looked confused.
"What the fuck are you doing here with
(Y/N) Simon?"
Lachlan questioned. Simon thought that Lachlan was being nice though.
"Oh! We were just talking and catching up."
Simon responded but Lachlan still looked mad.
"I told you not to step foot near her."
Lachlan cautioned. Simon rolled his eyes.
"You don't control who I see Lachlan. I wanted to talk to her so I did."
Simon said calmly, trying not to get mad at Lachlan.
"I don't give a fuck Simon, you don't go near my girl."
Lachlan snapped and walked closer to Simon. Simon was now irritated.
"Your girl huh? What about Juliet? Remember? You left (Y/N) alone on the fucking slopes Lachlan! You don't have the right to call her 'your girl!'"
Simon shouted. Lachlan then had enough. Lachlan punched Simon in the nose. Lachlan was going to go for another punch but Simon blocked it.
"Stop!"
I yelled and tried to break them apart but I couldn't. Simon punched Lachlan in the jaw.
"STOP!!!"
I screamed. The boys tore apart and looked at me with wide eyes. I got in the middle of them two. Simon had a bloody nose and Lachlan's knuckles were black and blue with bruises."I'm going to my room."
Simon announced. I grabbed Simon's hand.
"No please Simon."
I begged. Simon gave me a tiny smile.
"I'm okay (Y/N), I'll text you later, yeah?"
Simon replied. I nodded and let go of Simon's hand. Then Simon walked away from the scene."Oh so you and Simon, that's real rich..."
I ignored Lachlan's comment and roughly grabbed his hand. I led him outside and to the boat house beside the pool and slammed the door."Lachlan are you fucking for real?"
I cursed, so irritated at him. Lachlan snorted.
"What (Y/N)? I wanted to protect you and you're giving me shit because I care."
Lachlan replied. I rolled my eyes.
"You care? That's funny Lachlan. You ditched me for 2 whole days. Not one single text, nothing. If Simon wasn't here today, I would of spent the whole goddamn day alone once again."
I blurted. I saw Lachlan's face soften with guilt.
"And no, you don't get to say you're sorry now. At least Simon wants to talk things out and clear it up."
I continued. Lachlan started at me with his big blue eyes.
"(Y/N) I love you."
"No Lachlan."
I stopped him before he could go further.
"No! It's my turn to talk now. I was stupid, okay (Y/N)? I tried to make you jealous but it clearly backfired. I always loved you. I didn't know how to tell you because I didn't want to ruin... us."
Lachlan blurted out. He ran his hand through his hair stressfully.
"Words cannot describe how much I love you and I could never un-love you (Y/N)."
