Lachlan ended up coming over to my house 30 minuets later. His eyes were rimmed red from crying and his blonde hair was messy when he entered my room.
"(Y/N) I'm sorry. We didn't do anything, I swear."
Lachlan pleaded. I stood up and walked to Lachlan.
"I know."
I whispered and placed my lips gently on Lachlan's. Lachlan returned the kiss right away. His hand was on the small of my back and I placed my hands on the back of his neck.
We finally broke apart. Lachlan's soft blue eyes looked into mine.
"So are we okay now?"
Lachlan asked me with hope. I nodded. Lachlan smiled and wrapped me into a hug. I lay my head upon his chest. I heard his soft heartbeat.
I took Lachlan's hand and led him to my bed. We just lay there, cuddled up like 2 puppies. My head was on his shoulder and his arms were wrapped around my waist.
And in that moment... maybe everything will turn out fine.
