Louis felt pretty calm. He had been waiting in line for a while, but unlike some people, that reduced his nerves, rather than increasing them. He had been through many auditions, and though this was on a much, much larger scale, it felt the same to him. He was with his mom and his girlfriend, Hannah, the two people who he always felt safe and happy with, so he didn't feel nervous at all. In fact, this would likely be the highlight of his year, he was thrilled. That is, until Hannah started complaining. She had been doing a lot of that recently, and Louis was beginning to get really tired of it. He sighed.

"I'm going to the loo, I'll be back," he snapped. Hannah looked shocked by his sudden outburst, but after about 3 seconds, she went back to complaining about whatever minuscule, stupid thing was making her so upset. Louis was sulking as he walked down the hallway. He was planning on going into the restroom, washing his face, taking a few breaths, and going back to join his mom and Hannah. He was so distracted by his annoyance with Hannah, that he didn't even notice the younger curly haired boy that sprinted past him on the way to the bathroom.

When he reached the blue sign that signified the men's washroom, he had a sudden burst of anger, so he slammed open the heavy door, startling himself and the other person in the bathroom, who Louis hadn't noticed before. The boy spun around, and before Louis had a chance to process anything, the younger boy was kneeling down, muttering under his breath and wiping the floor.

"Oops," Louis heard, but he was preoccupied being caught up in this boy's gorgeous green eyes - not that he was gay or anything, he was basically the straightest person to ever exist. Straight guys can think other guys are attractive without being gay... right? Of course, Louis thought, why not? He suddenly interrupted his own thoughts.

"Hi," he said to the curly boy. Hi? Come on, Louis, say it's fine or something, offer to help him, don't just say hi, you idiot.

The boy's head shot up, and as Louis looked at him, he couldn't help but notice how adorable he was. His eyes were so bright, and he looked so happy. Louis couldn't remember the last time he had felt that happy. Louis, stop. You're happy, you've got mum, you've got your sisters, for fuck's sake, you've got a gorgeous, incredible girlfriend. You're happy. As the younger boy stood, he started speaking, or at least trying to.

"Erm... I... uh... h-hi." The boy was stuttering like mad, and Louis couldn't help the grin that was creeping onto his face.

"I'm Louis, and you are?" Louis held out his hand to shake the boy's, and smiled encouragingly at him, which, for some reason, only seemed to make him more nervous. They shook hands, and the younger boy sighed.

"Wow," he said, and Louis had to admit that if he were a girl, he'd find that hot. Extremely hot.

"Your name is Wow? I can't say I've heard that one before." Louis, shut up, god. You're not clever, give it a rest.

The boy stuttered out some monologue about how he wasn't great in social situations and kept saying "wow", but Louis was only half listening. He was busy looking at this boy's wild curly hair and brilliant green eyes, and most of all his adorable dimples. He's...wow. He's really hot. For a guy, obviously, I obviously don't think he's hot, I mean, for a guy he's hot, like... like if I was a girl, he'd be hot. I... no, he's attractive for a guy. Shit, Louis, you don't need to convince yourself. Yeah, he's hot. Be a man and admit it.

"Erm... yeah, I'm Harry." Harry, huh. It fits. The boy finished, then immediately turned beet red and looked down. That made Louis crack up, then the boy, Harry, started laughing too. Jingle bells. His laugh is like jingle bells and wow, wow, wow. Wow. Louis laughed more to cover up the fact that his mind (and heart) were racing at a million miles an hour. Shit, Louis thought.

Harry introduced himself again, this time apologizing for the pee on Louis's shoes (which Louis honestly couldn't care less about), Louis chuckled, and Harry gaped at him. Strange kid, Louis thought. Cute, but strange. Really cute. As Harry blushed, Louis couldn't help but grin. It seemed like there were a lot of things Louis couldn't help when he was around Harry. Including the growing... problem... in his trousers. If he didn't leave right then, Louis knew that someone (who was very much not invited) would want to stop by to say hello, and he couldn't let that happen, so he said something lame about what Harry had said and started towards the door.

He almost made it out before doing anything stupid, he was so close, but he just couldn't do it.

"Well, I'll see you around, Haz." LOUIS, WHAT THE FUCK??????? YOU CAN'T JUST CALL HIM HAZ, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, HIS MUM??????????? YOU MET HIM LIKE 5 MINUTES AGO, THAT ISN'T SOMETHING THAT PEOPLE DO, THAT ISN'T HOW SOCIETY WORKS, YOU IDIOT!!!!! YOU JUST RUINED EVERYTHING!!! E V E R Y T H I N G!!!!!!!!!!!

But as loud as his inner monologue was at that moment, he just smiled at Harry and slipped out the door.

All he could think was, Shit. Not again.
