Marinette's Prov

And- I don't want to be here.

"Let's get cupcakes!" Rose yelped pumping her fist in the air.

"No, we came to look for dresses for the dance," Alya responded rolling her eyes wearing a small frown. I sighed walking with Alya, who at the moment was trying to calm down the hyper blue eyed girl. Mylene trailed behind us talking to her boyfriend, Ivan. Alex was skating WAY ahead of us and Nino and Adrain chatting like always. Walking front of us, were the most unexpected couple in the whole school. Who would expect the class punching bag to date the most popular and best player/best looking kid on the football team? Well that's Max and Kim for you, those two can't keep their hands off of each other. Pssh- what is this, a fan fiction about two characters that go through events that lead them to realize their feelings for each other resulting in a happy ending?

(Kuo -Author- : Hahahah *sweats*)

"Yo, Marinette!" Alya shouts snapping me out of my trance. "Come on," she sighs walking into a store.

"Whoo!" Rose giggles running in Alya's direction. I shake my head walking into the store with everyone following behind us.

"Try the black dress," Alya said holding up a black dress against my torso.

"Black? No I think pink would be better," the blond haired girl chirped pulling off a light pink dress off the rack.

"Yeah, pink does look better," Mylene agreed and Alex nodded her head in response.

"Well, it looks like I'm gong to the dance in this," I smiled gently taking the dress out of Rose's hands.

"Speaking of the dance, who are you guys even going with?" Alex asked.

"Ivan" Mylene quickly remarked.

"Uh, well I was planning on going with my girlfriend." Rose started, her eyes glossed by water. "But, plans changed and she left me."

"Oh," I patted Rose on the back. "Well I'm sorry she dumped you."

"You can say that." She sniffed.

"Well I'm going with Luka, a-a-as a friend o-of course." I rubbed my neck knowing that I'm a terrible lier. Alex raised her eyebrow punching me lightly.

"A friend you say?" She teased.

"S-shut up," I squeaked feeling my face heat up. Ok, so maybe I do have a little crush on Luka but I don't think he'd like me back. Being friends is enough for me right now. Alex continued to tease me even using the K-I-S-S-I-N-G song from 2nd grade turning me into a blushing mess.

"Oh Alya are you going with anyone?" Rose perked up.

"No," She scoffed. "Well not anymore." She mumbled her words loud enough for me to hear, but what did she mean? Alya put the dress back on the clothing rack and walked away before saying anything to us.

"What's her problem?" Alex growled harshly clearly annoyed over Ayla's actions.

"Honestly, I don't know," I said looking back at the brunette girl stomping out of the store. "I don't know."

Sorry for the long wait, but it's finally here! I will try to be more active usually updating every 2 to 3 weeks. It's just playing 3 sports and school can get stressful at times, but I manage. Thank you all for reading!
