Chapter 9 A Real Date

The next few days were pure bliss, no football, no drama and Aiden and I were able to just get on with our relationship without arguing, it was peaceful and I haven't had in a very long time so it was nice for once. No one to protect no one having a go at me, just being able to relax and do what I wanted for a bit.

It was the weekend and Aiden and I had made plans to go on our first date, well actually he had made plans and I just had to show up on time, he was making it a surprise which in a lot of ways scared me but I found it rather sweet that he would go through all of the effort just for me. I guess you could say that I was actually excited and that's not something that happened often.

Whenever I had asked questions about what we were going to be doing he had refused to tell me anything accept that I shouldn't dress too fancy, so I guessed that we weren't going to one of the posh restaurants  in the town near to the school. I decided that I would wear a bright green strappy top and some demin shorts so not to dressed up but I didn't look scruffy either, I paired it with a pair of brown level sandals.

He showed up at my door perfectly on time as always. "Hi," He smiled as I opened the door.

"Hey," I smiled at him, god he looked hot, a pair of warn down jeans and just a plain grey t-shirt with a leather jacket.

"You look amazing, although you might want a jacket," He smiled at me pulling me close before he pressed his lips softly against mine for a quick kiss.

"Are you going to tell me where we're going?" I asked as I went and grabbed my jacket.

"Not a chance it's a surprise remember," He smiled taking my hand.

"Oh come on just one little hint," I was practically begging as we headed down the stairs towards the main entrance.

"Not a chance, now come on the first surprise is waiting out front," He smiled as her dragged me through the doors.

"Fine," I groaned, that's when I saw it. Parked just outside the main entrance was a motorbike it was just beautiful.

"You like?" He smiled staring at me.

"How could I not it's fucking amazing!" I laughed running over and just checking it out.

"Good, now come we've got places to be," He climbed on the bike waiting for me so I climbed on to putting on my helmet and wrapping my arms round his waist holding on tight.

And so we were off driving fast down the open roads and it was exhilarating, I loved the feeling, the speed. It let me feel free and that was something that I wasn't feeling too much lately but I needed it and I was so grateful for that. So far this date was going amazing and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. I noticed that we weren't heading towards the town so I wondered where we were going but kept my mouth shut didn't want to distract him.

We took a left turn down what looked like someone's driveway and I got a little concerned that was until I saw the fairy lights they were lining up either side of the lane and it was so beautiful, I couldn't imagine how long it would have taken to put them all up. We kept on going then just as we went round a corner this cute little cottage came into view and I swear it was like something out of a fairytale it was absolutely adorable.

He stopped the bike then and I climbed off and headed up to the cottage looking at all the fairy lights that lead the way and lit the building up, it was just magical.

"So what do you think?" Aiden asked wrapping his arms round my waist from behind.

"it's wow," I smiled kissing his cheek as we headed up the steps to the outside of the cottage that had a porch swing a fucking porch swing, I had no choice I had to have a go so I ran and sat down on it and started swinging, Aiden just stood there laughing at me like I was some kind of child so I just stuck my tongue out at him.
