The Set Date

Lillian's POV

Today was the day. My birthday! I was woken up by Megan shaking me. I thought a massive earthquake was happening so I quickly got up and started running around the room in panic. My breathing started freaking out. "Whats wrong?" Megan asked me.

The shaking stopped. Thats when I realized it was just Megan. "You made me think there was a earthquake." I laughed.

She laughed along with me. "Happy Birthday!" She cheered as she twirled me.

"Thanks." I replied dancing with her.

I forgot I was even in this place. Megan and I just laughed and danced. We totally forgot about everything. For a few minutes we laughed and had fun then, I remembered I was going to have a present. I stopped breathing. Megan looked at me confused. "The present is coming today." I told her.

I could tell she stopped breathing. The room was so silent we could hear the cries from a few people in their rooms. I finally started to breathe again. What was it going to be. I was so scared. We were not having fun anymore. We just sat in silence and waited. Soon, I fell asleep.

8:08 am

Lillian's POV

I jerked up awake as I felt something land on my foot. I looked down and saw my boyfriend. I heard the door slam shut. My present was my boyfriend. "owh." I heard him say.

"S-S-amuel." I stuttered trying to comprehend that he was here.

He lifted his head up and stared at me. "Lillian?" He said.

I nodded and hugged him. He hugged me back and there was silence. I was so happy Samuel was here. Then, I thought that now he was trapped. "Im so sorry." I whispered to him as tears started to fall.

He shook his head. "Its not your fault." He told me.

I heard shuffling and saw Megan appear. "Samuel!" She yelled.

Her eyes were wide in shock. Samuel turned to her and nodded. "THIS WAS HIS BIRTHDAY PRESENT!" She screamed very angry.

She started hitting the ground as her face has red. I ran to her pulling her into my arms. "Shh." I whispered to her.

"Birthday present?" Samuel asked confused.

"You were my birthday present from Brent." I explained to him.

"Who the heck is Brent?" He questioned.

I decided that now was the time to explain the rules and everything to him. Samuel tried to remain calm. But he couldn't. "This is what you have been going through for these past few days!" He yelled angrily.

"Your family and I were looking for you scared to death." He told me as he covered his face.

"I'm sorry we couldn't find you quicker." He apoligized to me.

"No its not your fault at all it was Brent's fault." I stated to him as I leaned onto him.

"I love you." He whispered to me.

You are now thinking. 'You only dated for one day and you cant be saying I love you yet.' . Well guess what, we knew eachother and liked eachother for a long time. We can say it. "I love you too." I replied to him.

He kissed my tear stained cheek.

9:00 am

Megan's POV

Lillian and Samuel were hugging eachother and I was sitting away as the outcast. I liked it when Lillian talked to me here. It kept me calm. But her not talking to me with all her attention on Samuel, made me start to realize what was happening more and more. While they were cuddling, I was noticing things. Things that I was distracted from when Lillian talked to me. Would Brent rape me? Would he rape Lillian? Would our set date be soon? Would we ever get out of here? Why were we locked in here but free to run around in the back yard? So many questions from things I had ignored before.
