Lillian's POV
I'm still stuck at the 'mansion'. I haven't gotten an answer yet from Brent if I could leave or not. I'm in the same room as I have always been but it is miserable because, I'm missing someone. Megan is dead. I was hoping she wasn't but it is official. She is about two days dead now and I can't handle it. Brent allowed Samuel & I in the same room but told us not to escape.
He seemed to let off the first escape pretty easy. We are still doing the same routine but I am also making clothes. I'm in the dress making place. I wanted to design pants but he set it up. Everyone looked at us on our first day back for lunch. I am almost sure people had died in the process of us escaping. Like Megan, I didn't want then to die for nothing so even if Brent didn't let me go. I was going to get everyone I could out.
"If I die, will you promise me something?" I asked Samuel.
"Sure, what is it?" Samuel asked.
"Promise, you will remember me." I told him.
His eyes became wide. "How could I forget you?" He said.
I smiled and blushed because, he actually cares about me and I can tell. He scooted next to me and but his arm around me. "I love you to death." He told me.
"Let's not talk about death." I laughed nervously.
"He won't let us go you know." Samuel stated.
I looked at the ground. I messed with my shoe laces trying to ignore the fact that he was probably right. "We need another escape plan." He went on as he faced me.
"I want to get out and actually go on a proper date with you." He smiled.
I chuckled, " 'Proper'? You never say 'proper'."
He shrugged. Then, Samuel went on talking about an escape plan. I just watched the floor and the dust piling up. How long has this place been. What was it, 2 years? How could someone live with the fact of stealing hundreds of people and killing then when they feel like it. It blew my mind. "Are you even listening?" Samuel asked with an annoyed tone to his voice.
I blinked back into focus. "Yeah, of course." I smiled.
Samuel sighed and walked away. He layed down. "Wake me up for breakfast." He said as he fell asleep.
9:30 am
Lillian's POV
We entered the elevator and clicked 40. "It is so cool you can walk around alone." Samuel gasped.
I laughed and then, the lift became silent. The elevator was up to floor 38 when Samuel started smiling, "That's it!" He yelled.
"What is it?" I asked.
"You can walk around alone! We could use that to get out." He cheered proud of his idea.
Even though a complete idiot could figure that out. But lets forget the fact that I didn't think of it. "Good thinking!" I said.
Finally, we might have an actual plan. This time we will actually think it through. The elevator doors opened and I notice that we had about half the people we had last time. "Is something different?" Samuel asked me.
I nodded and we stepped up to get our breakfast. "Where is everyone?" I asked the lunch lady.
I turned to see it wasn't our usual lunch lady. "Brent called a lot of people to the 41st floor." She answered.
"There isn't a floor 41." I informed her confused.
"Yes there is, the roof." She told us.
Samuel and I looked at each other. "In fact," She started then looked at a piece of paper on the counter.
"Would you both possibly be Samuel and Lillian?" She asked us with a devious smile on her face.
"No, I am Jake Rolland." Samuel said as calmly as possible and he could have fooled me.
I wasn't good at names and I was panicing. "Uhm, I am Lillian..." I stuttered.

Samuel looked at me angrily. "She is Lillian Pond." He laughed.

"She just gets nervous." He told her.

"Nice try you two, get on the roof." She told us point at the elevator.

We walked to it. The doors opened and revealed Brent. "Hello ladies." He greeted us.

"I'm a guy." Samuel said.

"Yeah, but you act like a girl." He said to him and then, we entered the lift.

We stood in silence. Brent clicked floor 1 then, quickly clicked floor 40. Then, a button was revealed. "Floor 41." He chuckled.

Brent pressed the button and up we went. "Where are we going." I asked trying to cry from how scared I was.

"You'll see." He smiled.

"I have a right to know!" I yelled.

The doors opened and the light from the outside was bright. I couldn't see out, all I saw was the light. I took a step forward and saw many black figures. They light was blinding me so I had to squint and I couldn't see enough to recognize them. "Hey Lillian." I heard a familiar voice say.

Once, my eyes adjusted to the light, I could see the people. My eyes opened wide. "Oh my god." I gasped at the sight of the people in front of me.
