Lillian's POV

9:24 am

We all started eating. By the time we were finished we were arguing about terriosts and bombs. "Their bombs couldn't be that bad." Leah had said.

Samuel spread his hands out to about this size to were a tiny dog could fit inbetween. "They are this big. The terriosts could put a lot in there." Samuel explained to her.

I rolled my eyes."It doesnt matter right now its already happened. Why are we even talking about bombs?" I exclaimed trying to stop the fighting.

They stopped talking and stared at me. "It's 9/11 in two days." Megan replied to me.

"Oh." Is all I said.

I stopped paying attention. I started thinking about escaping. Why has nobody done it? We could all easily escape? I could probably get Stephanie in on it. "Why hasnt anyone tried to escape?" I asked Leah.

Everybody at the table went silent. "Because most people are too afraid and people have tried. About four people tried." Leah told me.

"What happened to them?" I asked her.

"They got killed before they could even get past the fence." Leah explained.

So I guess the fence isnt meant to keep us in. We could easily get past it. But it is meant to slow us down. "I bet we could do it." I told them.

"Only if a lot of you helped us." I said to them.

"Why would we risk our lives to save you?" The boy asked me.

I had forgotten about him. "Whats your name?" I asked him.

"Grayson." He answered shyly.

"Well Grayson, if we got out we could get the police and help them find you." I annonced to him.

He nodded understanding. "I guess I have nothing to lose." He said.

I smiled. If I could figure out a good enough plan, we might be able to get out.
