~ Aurora's pov~

how is that even possible?" Drake asked as Josh, Drake, Alaric and I all sat around the table. "well, it is possible. When Aurora went back in time it was possible that she changed the timeline making this werewolf her brother." Josh responded. "but i'm a vampire, he's a werewolf, we're suppose to hate each." I asked. "yeah well look at Romeo and Juliet their suppose 'to hate' each other yet they were totally in love." Josh said. " you changed the time line when you traveled back in time, your soul took the place of Anneliesse's body so in some way it's like she never existed because she died with your soul so her soul was out of place, it was no longer Annelisse it was you, Aurora."

I thought of the words Alaric said on the loud car ride home, Josh and Drake were jamming out to Chris Brown. "these hoes ain't loyal!" Josh kept singing and messing up on the lyrics while Drake just sang the chorus since he didn't know any of the words. When i got home i just plopped on the bed falling to sleep in a second.

For the first time in a long time I had a good dream. I was in a beautiful flowery meadow with Drake beside me. Drake. His name slid off my tongue perfectly. I could gaze at his beautiful green eyes for years. feeling like if I'm watching infinite universes float around in his eyes. Watching him smile was like having a breath of air for the first time after being drowned for decades. He made me happy. and I've never been able to say that i've felt so strongly about anyone before. I liked him. I think i might even lo-lov-

"Ouch!" I woke up. I scratched

my back it was itching yet stinging. "What's wrong?" Drake said in a deep husky voice since he woke up, and it was 2 in the morning. "my back it hurts." I kept scratching. "you want a massage?" Drake asked. I nodded. He places his hands on my shoulder blade for a split second and I hissed in pain. I stood up quickly getting away from his touch and ran to the bathroom.

I looked in the mirror lifting my shirt and seeing two purple bruises going straight down in a line from the top of my shoulder blade to the middle of my back. My fangs came out along with my nails and I scratched my back but the pain was still there. I scratched and scratched until i started feeling a small bump on both blades. I turned around and saw a bone sticking out of my back. First thought was that I broke my back some how, I began to freak out and ran to Josh's room screaming. Josh I broke my back!! HELP!!" I opened his door quickly and turned on the lights. He blinked a couple times before saying "this better not be something stupid." He stood up walking towards me. "what happened?" Drake was leaning against the door way shirtless with only basketball shorts on. Hot. I spaced out for a second staring at Drake and then the pain came back, "hold on i'll just put some some cream on." Josh walked up to his drawer and pulled out a little tube. "it's gonna hurt just a bit.." i felt the cold gel of my back and screeched in pain. The gel only made it worse. "fuck Josh! that's not helping dammit!" I yelled at him in pain. "what's happening Josh?" Drake asked once again waiting for an answer this time. "Well since she got bit not to long ago, her body is still not use to the changes and is developing." Josh said walking us into the kitchen. "developing into what?" Drake asked. "a real vampire, her body is still not use to the changes she still needs to learn how to use her wings, control her emotions, her blood frenzys eczetera." he said while searching through the fridge. "wait wings?! what do you mean wings?!" I said. He nodded while pulling out a pouch full of blood. I just wanted to grab that pouch and drink in one gulp. "yup that right wings are coming in thats why you have that pain in your back," he chuckled for a second "I remember when my wings where kicking in, I was about 14 years old and all I could remember that the process hurts like a bitch. But also I remember my mom would bring me a warm cup of blood to bed and I remember the pain would doze off, my mom told me that with any health issue blood is the answer." he said sliding a cup full of blood towards me like the one he described in his flash back. "drink up." he smiled.
