CHAPTER 12 - Rehearsals

"Since the press-conference was just conducted and based on the crowd's respond it would be better that Vonne doesn't meet you boys individually today just yet, to avoid any unnecessary negative news spreading around. Its a good day for all of you to get a full rest today since we announced it in the news earlier its your granted off-day. You can meet tomorrow during rehearsals and meetings, lets just let the public tone down a little first shall we?" says Bang through the phone with RM, while he puts on speaker mode for the rest of the members to listen as well. "I've already told Vonne about this, she says she will contact you boys later as she promised you for a talk. Boys, don't push her too much, she usually does things and makes decision after lots of consideration, I sort of heard your conversation last night outside the meeting room before she came in for our last discussion." 
RM :"Bang PD-nim, we are not pushing her in any way, we are just concerned on her and don't want her to risk herself too much just for us. I just don't think risking her own reputation for us is a wise choice"
RM :"She has her own decision and choice to make RM, I understand your concern as we are more than grateful that she cares for all of your well-being that much, but we assure you that we won't mistreat her, that's our promise"

The boys stay silent for a few seconds. "I'll let you boys take a rest for now. Before I end our call, any explanations as why the 7 of you decided to show up during the conference this noon? As far as I checked, no crew members send any notice to you for attending it"
Suga :"We just thought we should be there for Vonne, as we are sure she will be there even though no confirmation has been given."

Bang :"So you just decided to come unannounced?"

The boys remained silent. "Well its not that I'm mad, I actually had 50% of expectation you would show up, but since you've never done something like this before infront of the crowd I was kind of surprised at the same time too. But what can I say, despite showing up unexpectedly in the crowd, you boys pulled it off well. And I must say, I'm impressed and happy with your good relationship with Vonne even though it has just been a week. Just next time, maybe keep me informed aight? Rest well, see you at the company tomorrow" and with that he hung up the phone.

Hoseok :"Guess we won't be seeing her today don't we?"
Jin :"I just hope she's doing fine"
RM :"Maybe lets just give her some time off too should we? I mean come to think of it, ever since our events were done and our night out in Taiwan, she's been busier with all the news and meetings and yet we were questioning and waiting for her explanation on her risking for us."
Taehyung :" ... do you think she would feel tired because of us?"
Jungkook :"Now that you've said so, it seems like we're not really there for her emotionally hyung, like we've keep asking her for explanations and stuff ever since she refuse to answer reporters in airport of her position, to when we came to knew that she agreed to Bang PD's proposal... we kept asking is she okay but we didn't really try to...you know be there for her.."
Suga :"Even Jungkook could rephrase it that way..."
Jimin :"Hyung...what should we do? We thought we were protecting her thats why we got angry because she agreed to Bang PD's proposal which puts herself at risk just for us, but we were so emotionally driven that now we look like we weren't there for her with everything that has been going on..."
The boys stays in silent, this is the first time they felt so clueless.
Hoseok :"Maybe we should just wait till she contacts us? Since Bang PD mention she will do so?"
Jimin :"But what if she felt we're neglecting her or something like that?"
Jin :"Lets just drop her a text in our groupchat and just wait for her to reply when she's available?"
All :"Sounds great"

"Hey Vonne, hope you're taking a rest right now. Bang PD-nim just called us to advise on our meeting with you today, as much as we wanted to see you, I think we should let you take a full rest after everything. Just know that we are all here for you alright? If you need to talk or anything, we're here, just call us :) We will see you tomorrow alright? Thank you for everything, sincerely." They all seated on the couch relieved after RM sent the message to their groupchat. The last thing they want was for Vonne to feel stressed out because of them. 
"Hey guys. Thank you for the heart-warming message, really happy to receive them. I'm doing fine don't worry alright? I was going to call you in half an hours time, just done unpacking my stuff and cleared all the laundries. You still need me to call? I can call you any other time too"
RM :"So glad to finally hear from you Vonne. Well we're available for the whole day today, you could call us whenever you're free, but if you wanted to call just to explain then there's no need to, we want you to take a rest from everything today.."
Hoseok :"Yeah we're sorry if we kind of push you on our conversation last night.."
Vonne :"What are you talking about? Who told you that?"
Jin :"No one... we just suddenly felt like we might be indirectly giving you pressure as well when we thought we're trying to protect you.."
Vonne :"Don't be silly guys! You're not putting any pressure on me don't overthink yourself. It was indeed an hectic schedule recently especially when the videos and news went up, but we manage it well didn't we? And i get it that you would want an explanation from me when I didn't even inform you guys on the company's plan, but we did it for the overall picture, and I should be the one saying sorry for not giving you guys a heads up on what's cooking, but you know.. its the company's plan so as long as they'll manage it well then I would need to leave it to them to handle it"
Taehyung :"You're not angry at us? Or even frustrated? Or tired at us?"
Jimin :"You can say it to us really, we were so focused and shocked when the company told us and we didn't even acknowledge how you'd feel.."
Vonne :"Guys really.. I'm not angry or whatsoever, infact.. I'm so happy and grateful that you guys took on my side, I didn't expect that. You know what, let me just call you right now instead of typing here shall we?"

And within few seconds Vonne's phone went ringing with RM's name on screen, and they put on speaker mode to chat with her happily. Vonne explained that she did it because Bang PD had explained on their plan and trusting that the company will be there for her, she agreed on Bang PD's plan as she would like to take this opportunity to bring some public awareness too, as well as protecting the boys incase issues like this occur again in future. After chating for almost an hour, they ended the call and went to have a rest for the whole day to themselves as they would need it before their rehearsals and meeting starts tomorrow.

The next morning, all the boys and Vonne were already in company discussing and practicing for their next concert coming up. Vonne is busy having meetings with the crew members while the boys are having dance rehearsals together with Son. After hours of discussions Vonne went to the dance rehearsal room to visit the boys and check on their status, they had lunch together and were chating away happily and some small discussion on who's performance part needs improvements and so on. She would sit in the rehearsal room to watch them practice and give some suggestions when needed as what would the fans wants to see, discuss the stage effects with their crew members for the show and so on. After the rehearsals Vonne would usually have the boys to leave first as and when the crews would need to have meetings with her.

Days has passed and everyday their routines were between dorm, studio and having meals at cafes. Public would sometimes spot them together with Vonne while they have their lunch or dinner together with other crew members and photos have been spreading around the net too but with no harm. Since tomorrow they will be heading for their next concert venue, all of them have been working a little longer than usual to make sure all things are checked and arranged, by the time they call it a day it was already 11 p.m.
Jungkook :"Yah I'm so hungry its already 11?! No wonder I'm starving we haven't had anything since our early dinner"
Jin :"Want to grab supper before we head home?"
RM :"Well our flight is 12 noon tomorrow, i guess we can have some time off now for supper"
Hoseok :"Has anyone seen Vonne? Want to invite her for supper too?"
Jimin :"Yah I haven't seen her since the evening, we were too focused on our practice too"
Taehyung :"She went with the crew after popping in to check on us in the evening, don't think I saw her coming in too after that"
Suga :"There she is" while he points at Vonne walking towards them with some of the crew. They waved and called her as she looks up to their direction. 
RM :"Where have you been? You guys work up till now?"
Vonne :"Yea we've been working through your schedules and also outfits to make sure all were in order before we bring them over tomorrow. You guys just done rehearsing? Son oppa informed me that you guys were about to head off, today's quite late for you too, don't stress out alright?"
Jin :"Don't worry we won't, just fixing our moves you know? We're about to grab supper, wanna come along?"
Vonne looks at her phone to check on the time :"We still have some time though, but are you sure you're alright? I mean you still need to pack for tomorrow, although our flight is at 12"
Taehyung :"Don't worry Vonne, we've been through even packed schedule than this and we manage to pack and sleep and get on plane on time though"
RM :"That last minute packing only applies to some of you, some of us were well ready for the schedule"
Vonne :"Haha alright alright, if all of you are fine then we should head over for supper right now without delay even more. You guys are coming as well?" she asked the crew members but they decline the offer as they're heading back after a long day. "Alright will see you tomorrow. Good night"
And off they went to one of the barbeque stall for supper.
