CHAPTER 18 - Off the case

After few minutes Vonne was feeling a little relieved and calmed while she let go of Suga and him holding her to take a seat. He sat beside her while looking at her wiping away her tears. After awhile he spoke to Vonne in a soft yet steady tone.
Suga :"Did you ever regret being here together with us? Being the manager of BTS?"
Vonne :"No." she answered firmly while wiping her tears.
Suga :"Even with everything you would need to go through? You could have just enjoy your freelance work without having to deal with all this stress"
Vonne took a deep breath and then replied :"Remember I told all of you before that if I wasn't ready, I wouldn't be accepting Bang PD's offer? Of course I only have a day or two to consider and everything was in a rush and hectic since day 1 which sometimes I don't even have time to think over everything, but deep down I know I don't have to...because this is what I chose with a clear and sober mind. I know about all these Suga, all the stress physically and emotionally, all the ovethinking, anxiety that may come along the way, which may grew larger from time to time. Although I'm not in an idol's position, but being in the crew could also faces with all these, especially if I'm the one who will managing almost everything relating to you boys directly, every step I take every decision we make will make an impact, either good or bad. And I always hope and strive that with every move we make, it would be for the best, especially for Bangtan."

She took in a deep breath again while tilting her head up trying not to cry anymore.
Vonne :"But I'm a human too oppa.. I don't know if there's anything I could do better for all of us, I just wanted the best in every situation." she started to weep again but wipes off her tears immediately. Suga hugged her again from the side, caressing her hair gently.
Suga :"Shhh its alright Vonne. There's something I would like to say, I hope you could listen to it with your heart?" she nods.
Suga :"From the first day you're here with us, no doubt there are people that start doubting if Bang PD made the right choice, especially having a female manager to be with us, which was a little against his usual decision. Even us members were a little worried, and I admit, I doubted you too. But that's not what we do here, you can think whatever you want, but never let others not having a chance to prove themselves, that's what we always believed in. And to what we expected, you did everything so well, and in fact some which we didn't even thought you would. We watched you work all these while Vonne, and many are amazed with the work you've done. You're precise, smart, hardworking, observant, kind and you're beautiful." he chuckle a little. "You might find this odd seeing me praising someone, but I would like you to know, you're really awesome Vonne. I guess you can trust me on that. So stop worrying too much, don't ever think you're not qualifed to be where you are, and stop thinking you're not good enough. You're beyond what we imagined and what we expect, really."

Suga was still hugging her, silently observing her. "We love the bright and cheerful you Vonne, we couldn't afford to lose you if you plan to quit one day by underestimating yourself" he smiles a little and he could feel her chuckle a little too.

She sat up straight from Suga's hug, wiping off her tears while smiling. "You didn't say all that just to make me feel better do you?" 
Suga :"I don't do things like that, I don't give people fake hopes, I thought you should have known"
Vonne :"I knew...just like I knew you wouldn't praise someone this much as you praised me just now, or talk something so sweet to someone who's being emotional. I just need to make sure you're in your right mind when you say all those to me, because truthfully, its beautiful" she smiles looking at him, knowing he would make his frustrated face as if he's insulted.
Suga :"Yah do I look like someone who doesn't talk truthfully?"
Vonne tries to hold on to her laughter :"You don't oppa, that's why I'm grateful"
She gave Suga a hug with her chin on his shoulder :"Thank you oppa, really, thank you for everything"
He smiled while returning her hug patting her back :"Thank you, for always being with us. From now on, I hope you would stay being with us, not being for us alright? We would always be there for each other, don't sacrifice too much on us, it hurts us seeing that although we were grateful at the same time..."
