CHAPTER 30 - The Breakdown

Jimin : "H-hyung??"
his eyes turned wide and lips parted
Yoongi : "Jimin? Why are you here this early?"
Jimin : "Hyung... I should be the one asking you this?"
Yoongi scratched his head realizing what Jimin said "Come on in first, don't catch others attention"
Jimin reluctantly walked in as he scanned through the house, no Vonne was to be seen.
Jimin : "Where's Vonne? You still haven't answer why are you here hyung"

Yoongi : "We had supper and some drinks last night after I brought her home. She fell asleep while watching comedy show, so I brought her in her room to get proper sleep. I was about to leave when thunderstorms and heavy rain was growling out there, I had no choice so I stayed and slept in her couch. You can check the cctv if you want"
his head tilted to the cctv up at the ceiling of Vonne's living room.
Jimin : "I didn't say anything hyung.."
Yoongi : "Just incase."
he walked pass Jimin to the kitchen

Yoongi : "Want breakfast? I made some"
Jimin : "Is okay... i bought some on the way here too"
he placed the packets of breakfast Vonne likes the most on the dining table, toast with soft boil eggs, and a small egg benedict, which funny enough was what Yoongi has prepared for her breakfast as well.
They both stared at the breakfast each had and laughed "Guess we know her very well"

Jimin peek at Vonne who's still sleeping soundly in her room, small warm smile appear on his face, as much as he wants to talk to Vonne right now on yesterday's incident, he knows nothing beats the feeling of her taking a good rest and having her own time by herself.

"Jimin?" a soft voice was heard just when Jimin was about to close her door
Jimin : "Hey... you're awake?"
he softly push the door looking at Vonne's soft expression with her sleepy face
Vonne : "Yeah.. why are you here? How did you get in here?"
confused as she tried to recall what happened
Jimin : "I came to see you, but you were sleeping so Yoongi hyung open the door for me"
Vonne : "Yoongi...?"
Yoongi : "Hey Vonne"
he leaned against the door as he heard the two speaking

Vonne : "You're here the whole night??!"
she jumped and sat straight on her bed still confused yet worried
Yoongi : "Yeah I tried to go back but there was a huge thunderstorm so I slept in your couch"
Vonne : "Yah why didn't you wake me up?"
she stood up anxiously
Yoongi : "So you could chase me home?"
Vonne :" Noo... i mean... at least I would know what's happening and get you a set of blanket to sleep with"
Yoongi : "I'm good no worries, I was wearing long sweat pants yesterday"

After freshen up the 3 of them were having their breakfast chating a little, the other members know they're here after RM kept asking Yoongi in groupchat where is he when he didn't see him since early morning.
Jimin : "Vonne... I'm sorry I raise my voice and throw temper to you yesterday.. I just... you know you're always standing on our side no matter what happens, suddenly with you questioning me, it felt weird... so... so strange, its like we don't know each other"
Vonne : "After all these while, that's what you would think of me when I asked you those questions?"
Jimin : "No no Vonne, its not that, funny thing was... that was what I was thinking too, like after all these while that's what you think of me, why are you suspecting me.. you know?"

Vonne : "I understand what you're trying to say Jimin, and I know how you would feel after that, but.. " she took a deep breath "I hope you understand that I still need to know the truth from yourself, no matter what I think because what I think or feel wouldn't be enough to prove anything to anyone, especially when it involves the public. And yet it was only you and your friend being there on the spot, with interaction with girls in clubs, everything sums up could lead to a big misunderstanding by the public, hence I had to do what I needed, the board won't be convinced with only statements from 1 party talking. I have to made sure nothing else happened that night too, you were tipsy even in the video, we need to make sure you're safe in hands"
