"Hey Li" I chirp with a friendly tone, "What's up girl" she says, I can hear her chomping down on some food. "Can I ask you something" I ask nervously, I felt like I was going behind Ivy's back but I deserved to know...Right?

"Ya go for it" I sighed "What's going on with Ivy and Dylan" she chuckles nervously, "whatttttt, who's that, who are they" I playfully roll my eyes, "Lia you're a terrible actor" I laugh. "Fine I'll tell you but you can't say anything to her" she whines, "Okay okay, I won't"

"Well It all started when Alex had that party in your dorm, Dylan got Ivy alone and told her he always had a thing for her but Ivy didn't want to tell you because she knew you and Dylan had a thing and she's liked Dylan foreverrrr." I nodded, even though she couldn't see me. "So after the party they started, her and Dylan got talking, on some sort of spiritual level or whatever I wasn't really paying attention" she speaks between bites and chewing. I roll my eyes "Go on" i Push. "You know what Dylan's like, he flirts. So Ivy thought that he was into her but then after she found out about you two, it really upset her, I mean she complained for days" She groans, elongating the 'S'. "But he would still talk to her so she had a little hope, of course she felt bad but she liked him yanno"

"Mhm" I sighed into the phone, "And when you stopped being a thing they started going out together more, in-fact they are out together right now" she giggled. I took a moment to process it, If Ivy liked him why didn't she just tell me about it? Also why was she still texting him while we were a thing? So many questions ran through my head as i felt a range of emotions flow through me. "Mel you there?" Lia says, chewing down my ear.

"Yeah" i trailed off "Hey thanks Lia, i'll call you later." "Wait Me-" I ended it before she could finish. I leaned back in my bed, running my hands through my hair. I shut my eyes for a brief second just as the door knocks, "Come in" I say loudly for him to hear. "You alright Mel?" Alex asks with a concerned look, "Yeah! i'm fine" I force a smile, avoiding eye contact.

"Oh okay" He says unsure, but leaves my room anyway. I fiddled with my thumbs, debating what to do. Lia said not to say anything but, surely I can, I stared at the ceiling and closed my eyes.

The ringing from my phones causes my eyes to shoot open, I look over at the caller ID "Dylan". I pull a confused face as i slide to answer, "Hello?" my voice sounding quieter then usual due to my rude awakening. "Meet me outside your dorm block in ten" he says and hangs up. Literal question marks run through my mind right now, I take a look at the time, 10:47pm.

I also have a text from Mel,

Dylan knows i told ya aha

I roll my eyes, will that girl ever keep a secret? I exit my room to find Alex watching tv on the sofa, "Hey, you're awake!" He chirps, i softly smile, heading for the door. "Where you going?" he questions sternly. "Just out" I mumbled, pulling the handle. "It's almost 11, where could you possibly be going that's so important and this time?" He nags

"Mind your own business Alex" I snap, i watch as his facial expression drops. His face goes to a saddened look but quickly switches up to anger. Before he could say anything else i shut the door behind me and pace down the hall.

Hiiiiii, God i feel awkward. So! I think we can ALL agree it's been a hot minute, My bad!!!! I really disliked this book but you've all persuaded me to continue it( and i truly mean it this time eek )
