Adam's House --->

"Do you have to leave? You could stay for the rest of the day and leave tonight. Stay for dinner or something." I looked at him with pleading eyes. He looked away and sighed, putting his hands on his hips. He turned back, leaned in and whispered.

"Lynn, I don't think your husband will be as hapy about it as you are. Actually, I don't think he'll be happy about it at all." I shoved him away from my ear and looked him in the eye with a deathly glare.

"He is not my husband."

"Not yet. When are you getting married, anyways."

"I don't know and don't change the subject. Stay, please. Don't leave me here all alone." My voice sounded as if I would start crying which brought the expression of discomfort to his face.

"I'm sorry, Lynn. No. I love you, bestfriend. Take care." He leaned down and kissed my forehead before sauntering off.

"Bestfriends don't let there bestfriends stay in strangers houses by themselves." I mumbled to myself.

"This isn't a strangers house. It's your house now, too." I heard a deep voice from behind me and quickly turned around to find Ryan on the steps in the foyer.

"Oh, it's you. And I don't consider this my house and I won't for the next two years." I rolled my eyes and walked over to the coat closet, grabbing mine and heading out the door.

"What are you doing?" He asked bitterly.

"Getting my coat. It's rather cold outside. Bye."

"Where are you going?" Irritation was clear in his voice but I couldn't have cared less.

"None of your business."

"You are my business making everything you do my business as well."

"Oh, right. I almost forgot that I was just a name on a piece of paper but does it really look like I care? When you figure it out, get back to me on that one. For now, I'm out." He opened his mouth but I walked out the door before he could say anymore. Adam's car was already about to pull out of the circle driveway so I ran over yelling. "Adam! Adam! Adam, wait!" His car instantly stopped and he got out of the car.

"What are you doing? Are you stupid? That man could get me arrested just for being here! Now you think it's fine to come out running and yelling my name like someone's going to kill you?" His face was more red now since it had already been due to the cold weather.

"Sorry. But you were driving away! And I'm going to your house with you for the day. Don't worry. You won't go to jail. I already told him."

"Obviously." He spoke while pointing behind me. I turned around to find Ryan standing at the door without a coat, shivering, just watching us.

"Yup, let's go." I quickly ran to the passanger side of the car and got in. Adam did the same and once he was inside, quickly drove out of the place. The rest of the way to his house I looked out the window, afraid of what his expression might be. I wonder if he's mad at me, I thought to myself. We finally pulled up to his little blue house that was comletely made out of stone from the first floor down and completely blue from the seconf floor to the third. His house was rather spacious being a one family home, which he lived in all alone, but it was nothing compared to the mansion. Adam parked his car in the driveway, got out, and walked to his doorway without even looking at me. I quickly got out of the car and ran after him. "Adam! Adam, wait. I'm sorry!" I ran while yelling, already breathless. He didn't turn around, however."Adam!" He whirled around all of a sudden with a red face and a deadly glare, making me stop on my tracks.
