"Hey V I'm here to get the rest of my stuff"
She smiles but it's not real "okay"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine! Would I not be?"
She turns so I can't see her face. My heart breaks for her.
I hurt her, I know I did. You can't just say goodbye to a marriage and be fine.
"Venessa, your aloud to be sad, Hell im sad too! You and I... it was great."
She turns to me and pulls me in to a hug
I let her cry on my shoulder for a bit. She lifts her head up but we still hold each other.
I stroke her cheek "you are the strongest smartest and carrying women I have ever met. If anyone is capable of getting over this, it's you."
What happens next feels right
We slowly lean in for a kiss
A goodbye kiss
It doesn't feel like it used to.
"Lin, if tomorrow you won't me be mine, let me love you goodbye"
"I love Jonathan. I couldn't do that to him"
"You did it to me"
She crys more
"We never did anything unless you okayed it hell we haven't done anything yet"
"Please Lin show me that what we had was something. Show me it's hard for you to."
I'm not proud to say that I did but I did.
It didn't feel right. But Venessa was hurting because of me.
I had to let her know that it was hard.
Yes I wanted to be with Jon and I'm glade I am.
But like I said you can't just throw away a marriage and not be hurt.
