This disorder is a real disorder however I have made up a lot of the symptoms to flow with the story! That being said this disorder is real and is hard for people to deal with! I'm not making a joke about or anything!
Lin's pov
I walk into the waiting area and sit down I can't help but get worried it just seems so serious
About 5 ministers later the doctor come out and I stand up.
"Good morning Mr Miranda," he shakes my hand as I smile and nod slightly " Follow me please" I do so and we end up in what I assume is his office.
"please, Have a seat" he shuts the door and takes a seat at his desk. I shift uncomfortably "S-so whats the problem?" He looks at me with a mix of worry sympathy and apology. No I'm even more scared
"As I told you, Jonathan has Separation anxiety disorder. This would normally be easy to fix, however, in some cases the only thing that can fix this problem is having someone who he trusts there to protect and comfort. The only problem with I this, people with this disorder can't trust 82% of the people they know."
Oh my gosh get in with it "why are you telling me this? Why not Jon?"
"Ah, glade you asked,"
I mentally roll my eyes
"-I can't tell you what you should do however I can give you my professional opinion as a doctor, I believe you should focus on Jonathan, that doesn't mean the only thing you can do is be with his, go to work, have a social life, so on- but if you do this you have to make adjustments for Jonathan, take him to social events, keep regular tabs on him, you are basically doing what he needs you to do"
"That doesn't seem to bad, I know that it will be be hard but I'm willing to do this for him"
"That's good to hear I will need to inform you that the more you help him the worse it gets when it comes to being attached to you, however, nothing dangerous will ever happen so long as he feels safe. It is going to be extremely hard Lin... really"
"I don't expect this to be easy..."
He smiles "good. So we need to make an appointment with you and Mr. Groff , also for the first year I would like to keep monthly tabs on the situation."
After setting appointments I head to rehearsal continuing my day as usual
Only today I know that I 100% need to get Jonathan back because he needs me...
