Maya's pov
I look up and guess who it is cowboy himself standing in front of me. Then I realise it's not only him I look back and Riley and Farkle standing right behind him
"What do you want cowboy!" I practically yell clearly irritated
"Well Mr.Mathews himself put us as partners in the assignment and I see the nicknames didn't go away" he says with smirk on his face I look over at Mathews and glare at he smile innocently
"MATHEWS WHY HIM !!" I yell and roll my eyes
"Well what can I say Miss Hart " he replies cheerfully
"Fine whatever " I mumble, I gather my stuff and walk out without looking back to meet my friends in the cafeteria
" Hey What a great day we have today I definitely didn't get paired up with huckleberry for an assignment " I say sarcastically as I sit in between Bradley and Leah, they look at me and chuckle a bit
"It is not funny okay !" I say laughing with them a bit
" Hey at least you don't have to work with Miss Ray of sunshine" Leah laughs and I glare at her with a smile on my face while messing around with my food never taking a bite
And then I do it again zone completely
I don't eat anymore because from a month I'm getting all these notes in my locker and text from an unknown number saying how fat, useless,broken I am and how they understand why Lucas didn't choose me and I understand it cuz I wouldn't choose me either Riley is pretty, happy and looks good in everything and doesn't have daddy issues like I do
Before I know it lunch is over and it's time for last period
The last hour came as a blur
At the end of the day walk to my locker open it and I guess what falls out another note I open it cautiously and it says "Ugly whore I know why Lucas and your dad didn't pick you kill yourself already " and that broke me I never got anything about my dad before I know it I feel tears running down my cheeks I drop the note and run to the bathroom and as I get there I go into the cubical and shut it now I'm looking for the only thing that will stop my pain I go through my bag and take out my blade
I slowly slide it on my wrist deeper and deeper at this point I watch the blood flow out of the wounds
After about five minutes I bandage my hand and go home I walked in and see a note on the side I open it and it says
" Maya Shawn is at a business trip and I'm coming back late love you lots sweetheart
Love mum "
I go upstairs and drifted of quickly
