Tell her
The words have been running through my head for two days now, but I'm too much of a coward to tell her and Riley
I'm going to break her heart
I turned on my bed and looked at the clock on the bed side table
2 am
I looked around the room to see Farkle and Zay sound asleep
Quietly I got out of bed and got out of the room closing the door behind me
I walked down the path way and the fresh air made my head spin
I sat down on the bench I watched the lake pointlessly
I have no idea what to do
How do I even tell Riley that I don't love her like that ?
What if maya really does hate me?
Well she seems pretty happy with Bradley
Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and when I turned around the eyes that looked like Bowles of chocolate came to view
"Can I sit down?" Her voice sounded rough as if she hasn't spoken for days, her eyes looked poofy
"Yeah go ahead Riley" I turned back around watching the water
"You love her don't you?" she asked even though it sounded more like a statement as if she has just realised that Pluto was no longer planet
"What?" I answered quickly
"Lucas stop lying to yourself you never loved me more than maya, it was always her and I just realised it I think I was too far in my bubble to see that you guys loved each other so I'm sorry I was in between of that" I looked at her surprised, Riley was always smart
"I'm so sorry Riley" I say feeling bad about lying to her
"It's fine Lucas I want you and her to be happy and I may have an eye on someone else" she chuckled
" whoooooo" I asked being my nosey self
"Promise to not tell anyone?" She held up her pinky
"Promise" I grabbed it
"It's ... Farkle" I wasn't shocked at all I always knew they would end up together even if it was in the far future but they were like a match made in heaven
"So Bestfriends ?" You could see the hope in her eyes and I obviously couldn't say no as she was like a sister to me
"Bestfriends" I nodded with a smile
"Now I'm going to say the same thing maya said to you, go find Maya and tell her you love her"
