The nurse immediately told me to sit down she said that my leg needs resting so I can't practice cheer for about 3 days and the competition is in 12 days

12FREAKING DAYS

I NEED TO PRACTICE

my head started to spin and I felt my eyes getting heavy I tried to keep them open but it didn't work soon all I saw was darkness

Lucas's pov

I was on the field and as the team was practicing Riley and the group where sitting on the chairs watching us

Soon I saw Sarah and Leah running over to Bradley trying to get his attention

"Bradley Maya fainted she's in the hospital wing !!" They shouted grabbing everyone's attention

Riley ran straight to them and so did the rest of the gang

"Do you know what happened ?" Farkle asked panic and worry written all over his face

"We are going with yous" zay said and smackle nodded her head agreeing

We walked into the hospital wing and went straight to the nurse and Maya's bed which she was now asleep on

"Are you all here for Maya ?" She asked

"Yes"

"Well she needs rest it's easy to see that she is overworking herself also I don't think she ate a lot this month she's really skinny, this was a warning and her body shutting itself on her"

"Oh my god" Riley gasped putting her hand over her mouth

I grabbed her hand and squeezed it softly

This is all my fault if only I was looking where I was going

Bradley sad next to her On a chair holding her hand and caressing it softly

"There's something else, have any of you known that Maya is self harming ?" She asked
My hand dropped from Riley and tears flooded my eyes

A soft sob escaped Riley's and Leah's mouth and Sarah buried her face in her hands

You could see Bradley gulp trying to stop the tears that so badly wanted to escape his eyes

I couldn't take it so I left

I walked towards the bench near the lake and let my tears fall

This was my fault wasn't it

God I hurt the person I can't live without

I put my head in my hands and tried to escape reality when I heard someone sit next to me

I looked up to see Zay with a sad smile and glossy eyes

"Zay what if I made the wrong decision?" I asked my voice weak I never felt this vulnerable

"What are talking about Lucas?"

"With picking Riley over maya" there I finally said it this question has been bugging me since I picked well I didn't really pick myself maya chose for me

"You love her don't you?" His voice was below a whisper it sounded like more of a statement than a question

"Yeah I really do man" it's good to get it off my shoulders

"Tell her"
