"Jeno come and set the table!" Jeno's dad shouted, to which Jeno came running down the stairs. "What have you made?" He asked, grabbing the place mats. "A bit of everything really." His father smiled, passing his son the side dishes.
Jeno's family were often labelled as entitled and snobby. But they were quite the opposite. Always wanting the best for others, and never taking their life for granted. His father taught him to fight for what he wants, but to always think about the less fortunate.
Jaemin was very similar, except his sister was a bit full of herself. But he never took his health, family and friends light heartedly. His mother taught him that showing love to the unloved can go a long way.
Soon a knock came from the door, and Jeno sprinted to the door. Opening it up, he saw his boyfriend, dressed in casual attire. "Evening babe." They both spoke in sync, hugging each other. Breathing in each other's familiar scent, feeling complete in the others arms.
"No dilly dallying boys, it will get cold." Jeno's mum chuckled, walking down the stairs. Jaemin slightly bowed, soon walking in with Jeno. "Dig in boys." Jeno's dad said, to which both boys thanked him and began eating.
Jaemin had started coming to Jeno's house for dinner since they became boyfriends. His family being nothing more then accepting of them. It was now tradition for the boys to join each other at dinner and breakfast.
Jaemin's mother cooked a traditional English breakfast that was to die for. And since Jeno's father was a Michelin star chef, you'd have to assume he cooked a pretty nice meal."So, anything interesting happen today boys?" Jaemin nodded, placing down his drink. "Well, I bumped into a boy today, he was called Renjun. He actually ended up spraining his ankle. Weird thing is he didn't call him mum or dad to pick him up, he said he was okay walking home on his ankle." Jaemin's voice faded out, feeling ashamed.
But a comforting hand was placed onto his thigh, to which he held tightly, looking up and meeting Jeno's eyes. Both smiling brightly, having nothing but love in their eyes. It was a romantic moment, a moment of pure love.
Moments like these happened often, especially at dinner. And Jeno's parents let them be, happy that their son is happy. And that's all that good parents want for their child.
"Well it was nice of you boys to help him, make sure to go up and check on him tomorrow." Jeno's mother said, collecting the empty plates on the table and taking them into the kitchen. "Didn't you accidentally pick up his sketchbook?" Jaemin nodded at Jeno. "Well, how about we take it to him tomorrow."

"Okay, don't get stuff everywhere." Jeno's mum said, walking out of the kitchen. The boys had decided to make some muffins for pudding. "We won't mum." Jeno shouted to her, grabbing all the ingredients out, with the help of Jaemin.
The two stood beside each other, putting different ingredients into the bowl. Jaemin stirring it every now and then, but soon enough grew bored. Spotting the flour, he grabbed it, grabbing a handful.
"Hey babe."
"Hmm." Jeno turned around, only to be met with a face full of flour. "Oops." Jaemin said, beginning to laugh. "Oh you're so dead." Jeno picked up the plain flour, while Jaemin had the self raising. They were now throwing it at each other, ducking under counters, jumping over the kitchen islands.
"Lee Jeno!" He heard a call from his mum, making the both freeze. She stood hands on hip, glaring at the two boys. "Clean it up, then I need to take you home Jaemin, or else your mum will kill me." She sighed, walking out.
"That was fun." Jeno said, leaning in to kiss his boyfriend. Who smiled into it, both then started to tidy up, still with smiles on their faces. Not even slightly annoyed, because they were with each other, and soon, a third.
