Oh my god. I actually said that. I think I'm going to pass out.
Finlands jaw had dropped when Sweden had accidentally voiced his thoughts, and now the small country was staring at his friend. He looked like he would have never, never in a million universes expected it. "I-I-I.." Finland stuttered, not being sure how to reply. "T-thank you. So much." He finally said. What? He doesn't hate me? What do I say now? Sweden was panicking as he could feel his heartbeat get faster and faster. Little did Sweden know, the situation was only going to get crazier.
Suddenly, the small man wrapped his arms around the bigger nation, and leaned his head to Swedens side. "Really, thank you. Even though I don't like to admit it, it feels great to be complimented once in a while." Finland stated, and let go of Sweden. It kind of sounded like he wanted to say something else too, but couldn't. All that the tall nation could do was sit there in complete silence, and watch as his "much-more-than-a-friend friend" stood up, and walked to the bathroom door.
I don't know how to react. Oh my god. Oh my god. He just hugged me. What is even happening anymore?
"Well, I better go change into my swimming trunks, and you too. The others are probably waiting for us" Finland suggested, and left the room, closing the white wooden door behind him.
I need to do it today. I need to tell him how I feel. He needs to know.
Many hours of swimming, having fun and playing games had passed on the beach where all of the countries were spending time together. The summer sun had started setting behind the sparkling ocean, recreating the rosy sky of yesterday. Everyone was grilling sausages, which had obviously been Prussias and Germanys idea. The two of them had set up a nice campfire that all of the nations were hanging around. Suddenly Italy yelled; "Hey everyone! That sign says there's a karaoke bar nearby! Let's go there!" The brunette man was pointing at a wooden guidepost that had the words "karaoke bar" painted onto its surface.
"Sure, I love singing!" Finland replied and stood up from his seat. He had blue swimming trunks and a white t-shirt on, but their colors changed a little because of the warm sunlight. Almost everybody else nodded too, and the countries started heading towards the karaoke bar.
Soon the small building was crowded with people, drinking, dancing, and waiting for their turn to sing. Sweden was just kind of standing around anxiously, not being sure what to do. As he looked at what all of the others were up to, he suddenly noticed something quite strange. Denmark was going around whispering something to random groups of people, and then looking at Sweden, and continuing to the next group. Before the biggest nordic could do anything about it, everybody in the small bar was looking towards his direction. Even the singer had gone quiet.
"Yeah! We wanna hear you sing, right everyone?" Italy shouted, sounding very exited. "Totally! Go for it dude!" America continued, as very many nations started cheering and whistling along. "Sing for us Sweden!" Someone yelled. "Wait.. what's all of this about?" The tall man that had gone from invisible to the center of attention in seconds asked, not knowing what was going on.
"Denmark told us that you wanted to sing but were too afraid to because you thought that no-one would want to hear you sing." England explained. I never said that. And I don't even really want to sing, I'd just embarrass myself. But what can I say?
Then something turned Swedens opinion about singing tonight upside down. "I'd love to hear you sing, it would make me happy." Finland stated and smiled widely.
Yep. I'm singing. It's decided.
