"Well.. You need to promise me one more thing, then I'll tell you what this is all about. Okay?" Finland said, staring deep into Swedens eyes. The tall man nodded in response, and Finland continued: "This will not change the way you view me or anyone involved in this story. Understood?" To that Sweden nodded again. I wonder what this is all about. He seems so serious. Too serious.

"Okay good. Sorry for being so bossy, this is just a really personal thing to me" The smaller nation apologized, turning his head to face the floor. "It's okay" Sweden tried to comfort him. A voice inside his head was telling him to grab the mans hand, but his brains stopped him from doing so.

"I got it in a war not so long ago, the winter war." Finland stated and sighed. "It was a war against Russia." His words sounded like pieces of stone, finally falling off his chest like they should have a long time ago. A war against Russia?! But he isn't under Russias control now? And Russia never looses. Sweden wanted to ask a thousand questions, but the only thing his body let him do was stand and stare in complete shock.

"I-I know what you're thinking, how did the war end and how am I here now? W-well.. I won the war but got this ugly scar." The shorter man told, as his voice became lighter and lighter. "Whew. I finally told somebody." And with that, he turned back to face Sweden. Finlands violet eyes looked like there was a million hidden emotions burning inside, just about to break through but still somehow being able to calm theirselves down.

He won Russia in a war. He survived that scar even though it cut deep.

"Finland, you are beautiful, but please remember you are also so much more than that" Fatal words that Sweden didn't mean to say at that moment escaped his lips. In panic the tall man moved a hand over his own mouth, but it was already too late.

He had thought out loud.
