Max's POV

They were acting strange... Why were they leaving us with Gwen so suddenly? Not that that's a terrible thing but it probably isn't the best thing either. Maybe she'll have the answers?

I decided to go find out for myself what was going on. I hopped up and told Nikki, Neil, and Preston that I'd be back soon and was off. I walked up to the female counselors cabin and pounded on the door.

"WHAT?!" Gwen yelled opening the door.

"Do you know where cult freak and tree man are going?" I asked. She got quiet all of a sudden and started acting as if she had no idea what I was talking about. I saw a smile tugging at her lips but she tried to hide it. I narrowed my eyes at her "What the fuck are you three hiding?" I then decided I probably didn't want to know and shrugged and walked away.

David's POV

I am cold! Can you hear? I will fl-I quickly took out my phone and answered it knowing who it was immediately.

"Gwen is everything alright? Nobody's hurt are they?" I questioned.

"No, David, everyone here if fine but I need to know when you'll be back. Max is getting suspicious"

"We are on our way back now. Almost there in fact." I said with the biggest grin on my face.

"Good grief, David, you're not talking while driving are you?" She asked.

"Why Gwen! I can't believe you would even think that! Daniel is the one driving us back." I stated as a matter of fact.

"Oh. I forgot he was with you. Well anyway, most of the parents have already come to pick up their kids. Preston and Max the only two that are left. Did you get the papers?"

"We did!" I heard a gasp on the other line.

"Did you both sign them?!" She asked excitedly.

"Y-yes?" I replied blushing. Then there was squealing and a click. She hung up.

"Twenty One Pilots, eh?" Daniel asked raising an eyebrow at me.

"Y-you know them?!" I asked blushing even harder.

"That song was Isle of Flightless Birds. It's one of my favorites. My top one being Migraine." My eyes widened.

"MINE TOO!" We started reciting the lyrics the rest of the way back to camp.

Max's POV....yes again...! >_<

I sat there with Preston waiting for his grandma to come get him. We talked about random things and the conversation eventually shifted to musicals and then to something I thought it never would...

"I know about your nightmares Max." He said out of nowhere. I just stared at the ground and said nothing back. "I know that you have been through some things... Max... I just want you to know that... I'm here for you... Whenever you need to talk." He slipped a piece of paper into my hand and I looked at it. It had a phone number on it... I hugged him as if I'd never see him again and to my surprise he hugged back. A car pulled in and Preston got up. "That's my grandma..." Then he leaned down and kissed me on the cheek. He then got an in the car and left. Leaving me alone...

"MADE IT THIS FAR! MADE IT THIS-" The two men were yelling at the TøP of their lungs. They got out of the car, David smiling stupidly the whole time, and took me into the cabin. Gwen also had a stupid smile on her face when she saw all three of us walk in.

"Did you tell him yet?!" She asked them.

"Tell me what? What the hell are you hiding?!" I yelled. Daniel picked me up and set me on the counter of the kitchen.

Daniel's POV

I picked up the confused child and put him on the kitchen counter. I looked back at Gwen and David who were grinning excessively.

"Don't you two have any sense of surprise?" I asked rolling my eyes.

"THE FUCK IS GOIN ON?!" Max snapped waving his arms in the air. I couldn't hold it in anymore, I smiled as well and handed him the papers. "What are these for?"

"If it's something that you might want... We went and filled out adoption papers. Max, David and I want to take you away from your asshole parents." I said as I watched him tear up.

"Language, Daniel!" David exclaimed as Max and I both rolled our eyes.

"A-anybody have a pen?" Max asked. Gwen took a pen out of her pocket and handed it to him. When Max signed the forms it was almost official. All that was left now was to get a suitable living place for us and get him in school. We all were hugging each other and crying our eyes out. Even Max, who had always been a bit reticent. However, the beautiful moment came to an end as we saw headlights showing up in the driveway of the camp. They're here...

A/N.... I DID IT!!! Okay so rehearsals are going to be running later than normal for a while so I'm not sure when I'll be able to publish part three. P.s. I know that there is so much more that goes into adopting a child but for the books sake I made it seem simple. And yes I DO ship Max and Preston in case that wasn't obvious before. XD Any who Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful evening/day! Good Later!
