Listen here buckos, this is just for my characters, so if you're curious or something, go ahead and take a gander.
I may add a mature rating later on just to be on the safe side, but yeah.
I had no idea where to start with this, so I decided to just start with a few of my personal favorites.
Meet Kaishi! Kaishi is a Cyclops/nymph hybrid, her mother being a Limoniad(a Nymph of meadows/flowers) and her father a cyclops. Kaishi dislikes violence and prefers to use her words rather than her fists. She's a mostly friendly creature, but she is more timid and cautious around new people. This comes from the fact that - despite being as friendly as she is - she lives in a hostile environment.
Kaishi lives in a realm where humans aren't the dominant species. Elves are. In fact, the forest she lives in is near an Elven Kingdom. It's not just elven kingdoms either, the neighboring kingdom is ruled by Orcs. Cyclops are seen as savage creatures by 'higher-ups' such as elves and orcs and are usually killed or hunted if they're spotted too close to the kingdoms.
Cyclops in this world are mostly solitary creatures, but there are instances where they stick together in a clan. Kaishi is the leader of one of these said-clans. The clan she leads takes in Cyclops half-bloods such as herself and Cyclops with deformities. The clanmates so far(not counting Kaishi) are Sasha, Patches and Relic, Lewis, Ani, and Ahmi. Most of these I'll go over later after the ref sheets are made.
Kaishi has many small hobbies to keep her busy in her home. She likes to make crafts out of wood and carve things into tree-trunks. Kaishi likes to sing small lullabies and tunes her mother taught her even though she's terrible at singing. She also has an impressive garden and she'll tend to it in her spare time and whenever she's feeling stressed.
Speaking of stress, the vines around her neck are a kind of signal in case Kaishi starts to stress herself out too much. If this happens the vines will start to tighten, sometimes to the point of bleeding or suffocating. She has pink scars under the vines because of this and also because she used to stress a lot as a child. She manages better nowadays.
