Gaia

Finally got Gaia's ref! I'm proud of it! Anyway, She's green because she's made of plants which is probably the most obvious thing, hehe. Her hair is made of a very odd substance that's kind of plant-like but not quite. It grows berries that are edible and most of them taste very sweet, but the blue ones are pretty bitter. Her mother gave her that cloth(it's made of rock but Mother Earth is pretty magical and was able to compress it into a soft material// the gold part is made of... well, gold,) but it's a little too big for her right now. Her eyes are pink rubies. Despite having no real eyes, she's not blind. Also, Gaia's eyes can turn into a mouth. This is because she's made up of plant and is very squish-squish so she can just do that. It's magic. Also plant. She has four antennae, two from the center of her skull and the other two at the base of it. While Gaia's naturally connected to the Earth and its emotion, these antennae are what connects her to it best. [uuuuu I'll add more later, I had a pretty stressful day, hnn--]

Gaia is the eldest sibling in the space group. She's older than Orito and Lux and was alive before their time, mostly by accident. After Mother Earth (One of the three guardian-figures) came back to find her planet full of green(I'll explain once I write about Mother Earth), she went down there and took a look around. Needless to say, her presence on the planet caused some... odd happenings. The cells, the germs, the micro-organisms, the bugs, the plants that had thrived, the water, the air, all of it could sense the presence of a being greater than themselves. And so the planet formed a gift for Mother Earth. At first, it was merely a lump of dead plants and dirt put together to resemble a something, but Mother Earth blessed it with life and sentience. Gaia was born. It was kind of an Athena scenario since Athena was born a woman, fully armored and all. What I mean by this is when Gaia was given life, she took the form she's in now and hasn't changed nor grown since.

Gaia is a very benign being and is careless and aloof. She moves around slowly and gracefully, like a tree swaying, or reeds dancing in a soft breeze. This makes her seem quite vulnerable, despite her being the opposite. If need be, like the rest of the children, Gaia can be a terrible force to be reckoned with. She's pretty bad at making good decisions; she was the one that tipped Igniss off about Earth being a good place to live(or hide), although she never suspected he would've actually followed her advice. She's quite limited with her powers despite being the embodiment of the Planet; she has an impressive healing and regenerating factor. Her eyes can transform into a mouth. She also can lure people with her voice, kind of like a siren. Now, this does seem a bit far-fetched, but think of it this way: she's the embodiment of the Planet. The Planet sounds just as beautiful as it looks, right? The sounds of nature can be very captivating, no?

Although Gaia loves to be in space, with its stars and her family, she can't help but long to be on Earth whenever she's away from it. She loves to be among all the green, sitting there and letting her mind become one with the planet that gave her life. She belongs down there.
