"Hey, Princess! Do your fancy trick again!" Pyronica called. She was sitting at a table with Paci-Fire and Xanthar. "They wanna see."

Earlier that day, (Y/N) and Pyronica got to talking. Pyronica asked if human boys were any cuter than the demons around, and (Y/N) thought it would be better for Pyronica to decide for herself. She pulled up a picture of Monty, thinking the worst case scenario would be that Monty got a demon significant other of his own, but Pyronica was much more interested in how the human got trapped in the little box.

(Y/N) explained it was a picture, and took a picture of Pyronica so she could see for herself. Needless to say, she was amazed.

"You'll never guess what it is! Smile!" Pyronica linked her arms around the two and pulled them closer to her with a strength (Y/N) didn't expect her to have.

(Y/N) snapped the picture and turned her phone for the three to see. She couldn't tell if they were pleased or not, but Pyronica was smiling brightly.

"Look it's us! But we're here, too!"

The door to the bar opened, allowing the bright sunlight to stream in. A small, skinny demon dressed in the palace worker outfit stood in the doorway, his hands behind his back. His dark green eye looked around the room nervously until it landed on (Y/N).

"Your Grace, I've come to escort you back to the castle."

"What?" Cried Teeth. "But she's having fun here!"

A chorus of "Yeah!"s came from the remaining demons as Bill floated beside her.

"B-but it's almost time for the feast. And she can't be late." He looked like he wanted to run away and (Y/N) could see the lingering fear in his eye as he spoke to them.

"It's okay," She said. "I'm starving, anyway."

He flinched when she spoke to him. "Y-yes, um, please follow me."

"You aren't really leaving are you?" Pyronica sounded defeated. "I was just starting to like you."

"Yeah," (Y/N) slid out of her chair, trying not to sound too relieved to get away from all the chaos. "Looks like it's that time. Darn,"

"Hey, I have an idea!" Said Bill, appearing beside (Y/N) in his human form. She was glad to see his familiar freckled face. "Why don't you guys all come to the feast!"

"Oh, actually--"

All of his friends brightened, immediately chatting about the prospect of being inside the castle.

"No!" Cried the little demon from the doorway. "It's already bad the Princess has been subject to your company all day!"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Asked Keyhole.

He looked scared that he was addressed by them and looked to (Y/N) for help. Everyone else saw his gaze fall on her and in turn, looked to her for their answer. She was the princess, after all, so she was expected to make these kinds of decisions.

"Oh, uh," She felt uncomfortable having that many eyes on her. "You know, I'm not sure if Xoggin made enough food for this many extra people. Everyone who's coming probably rsvp'ed or something."

"Oh, come on, Princess," Said Bill, snaking his arms around her waist and pulling her close to his chest. She felt her face heat up and tried to get out of his grasp; she'd always been uncomfortable with his public displays of affection. "What's the harm in a few more guests, huh?"

(Y/N) could think of a million things. She hardly knew them, so she didn't know what kind of motives they could have. Would they try to steal something? Overthrow the queen? Try to kill (Y/N)?
