The Puppeteer x (Suicidal) Reader
2nd POV
It had been 8 long and depressing months since you and your now ex-boyfriend had broken up.
He shattered your heart the minute you had walked into yours and his shared home, you found he had brought another girl into your bed, someone he had secretly been talking to for the few years you both were together.
You were completely miserable, you cried everyday, and felt as though you never meant anything at all, not just to your ex, but to anyone.
During the months that passed you met Puppeteer, who had come as he usually did, preying on depressed and lonely victims, only to rip the flesh from their arms and turn them into puppets.
For some reason, the Puppeteer didn't do that to you, instead he became your friend, which made you feel a little less lonely.
Nevertheless, there wasn't a day that went by that you didn't want to take your own life, and the Puppeteer knew that, which is why he did everything he could to be with you.
You currently sat on your living room couch, staring at the emptiness of it, some of the furniture of the house was gone when your ex moved out, leaving memories trailing behind.
You sighed heavily as you laid down, staring at the floor.
The clock on the wall chimed midnight, and you felt your eyes grow tired.
The Puppeteer had been gone all day, and his presence was the only thing that made you feel alright in that moment.
As you stared to feel lonely once more, Puppeteer finally appeared in your living room.
His figure stood tall over yours, and you looked up at him with your lifeless eyes.
Puppeteers golden eyes looks down at you as he softly smiled, "Hey Y/N." He said gently.
You forced a soft smile back, "Hi." You replied.
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he sat in down in front of you.
You shrugged as you sat up, wiping your eyes and running your hand through your hair to pull it back.
"I don't know, just the same I guess. I feel numb." You said as you sighed.
The Puppeteer frowned a bit, but then he did something he thought would make you feel a bit better.
He slightly raised his hand, golden strings making their way towards your sides.
He wiggled them, and it caught you by surprise.
You started to smile and giggle as you tried to push them away, but Puppeteer kept them attacking your sides.
After a minute you managed to scoot away from them, and they disappeared back into the Puppeteers hands.
You rubbed your sides as you let out your final giggle, and the smile on your face slowly went away.
"I guess that made me feel a bit better." You said as you looked at him.
Puppeteer stood up as he smiled, his smile glowing gold.
"Good, I really do hate to see you sad." He said .
You sighed and looked down, "I can't help it..."
A moment of silence went by until you then got off of the couch.
"I'm gonna take a shower, to clear my mind." You said.
Puppeteer nodded and he hugged you, "I'll make you some food." He replied.
You softly smiled and hugged him back, then you went upstairs.
