The Puppeteer x (Suicidal Reader)

2nd POV

You sat in the shower for about 30 minutes, the water on hot as you tried to calm yourself down.
You were crying again, all the sadness and depression from your ex cheating on you hit you once more.
As you wrapped yourself in your towel, you tried to remember the little laughs you had just earlier with Puppeteer, but it didn't help.
You leaned against the wall, sliding down it as tears poured down your face.
"I'm so fucking useless." You said as you buried your face in your hands.
Tears blinded your sight as you sobbed and sobbed, until eventually caught sight of the fading scars on your wrist.
When Puppeteer had met you, you were a cutter.
Little by little he helped you, until you stopped doing it.
But everyday you had the urge, and you finally needed to feed it.
You leaned over to the cabinet underneath the sink and you opened it.
Inside was a single razor, and you grabbed it.
You stared at it with your tear filled eyes, and you took a deep breath.
"Just take away my pain..."
You moved over to the bath tub and held your wrist over it.
Your eyes shut as you dragged the razor across your skin, feeling the skin cut open as blood started to ooze out.
A knock at the door suddenly made you jump, which caused the razor to go a bit deeper.
Your heart started racing and your vision started to go blank, Puppeteers voice filled your ears as you passed out.

You awoke a few hours later, clothed and laying in your bed with bandages on your wrist.
A rush of pain struck your wrist, and your eyes jolted open.
You let out a groan of pain as you sat up, and you noticed someone sitting in the room with you.
Puppeteer stood by the window, staring out it, until he looked over at you.
His eyes were different, instead of their usual bright glow, they were a faint gold white.
You looked away, and swallowed hard air as you pulled your legs to your chest.
He slowly floated towards you, and he softly spoke.
"You had me worried. You scared me." He said.
You looked up at him, tears threatening to fall.
Your mouth opened to speak, but nothing came out.
"I know you're sad, I was once in the same place as you before I became who I am now." He said as he sat next to you.
You scooted over a bit, and looked down at the blankets.
Puppeteer moves his hand to the bottom of your chin and slowly lifted it, making your eyes meet his.
"Please don't hurt yourself Y/N. He isn't worth the tears and suffering. I hate to see you like this."
His thumb caressed your cheek, the pain in your wrist seeming to fade away as you focused on him.
"I'm sorry." You quietly replied.
He softly smiled, "Don't apologize, but please realize something."
You slowly nodded and he continued.
"I...care for you, I'm here for you. I want to make you smile, please don't let me fail at that." He finished.
The tears that you were trying to hold back disappeared, and a small smile grew on your lips.
Puppeteers eyes returned to normal as he smiled a bit wider, then he leaned over and placed a kiss on your forehead.
"Dinner is ready, and please Y/N, remember I'll always be by your side."
He then got up, his black hair slightly moving as he walked out of the door.
You sat on your bed for a moment, and for the first time in months, you felt yourself happy, all the sadness gone.
